obviously this deserves a thread of its own.

Pepe & Varane missing for Madrid.
Neymar, Rafinha & Vidal missing for Barca.

Possibilities that Bale & Mascherano will also miss the game.

Last 5 fixtures against each other have yielded 2 wins each and a draw.

Last result in this fixture was Real Madrid 0-4 Barcelona in 2015.

Anything but a win for Barca & the title is Real's. If Barcelona win, they'll go top because of a better head-to-head. Even if Barca do win, can see Real winning the league as Barca's form is not as good as it should be.

3-10 to Barça with all 3 Real goals off side and a missed penalty by Real where they get the penalty because one Real Madrid player fouls his own player in the Barcelona box... Oops! But we've already seen that one haven't we... Doubt the refs will try the same trick AGAIN!

That's the official starting lineups for El Clásico. Neymar is obviously out because his initial 1 match suspension (already served) was prolonged for three games due to him applauding the ref when he was sent-off a couple of weeks ago.  Barcelona appealed to the Spanish CAS but for the first time in Spanish football history they refused to give a verdict before the next game and Barça told Neymar to travel with the team to Madrid just incase a final minute verdict was issued which it wasn't.

So Luis Enrique has opted once again for André Gomes and he will be the one replacing Neymar.  But it isn't exactly a front three due to Neymar being suspended and Messi withdraws to the midfield with Sergi Roberto playing on the right but not exactly a right back position as Barcelona will be playing 3 at the back once again.

Why dont Enrique play Denis Suarez instead of Gomes? I think he is a much better player overall

Because André Gomes was a specific Luis Enrique signing and very expensive whereas Denis Suárez was recaptured after very successful two year loan spell at both Sevilla and Villarreal.  Plus Denis is very young and an academy player which means he can be kept waiting.

pretty sure Rakitic isn't playing RWB…

Both Sergi Roberto and Ivan Rakitić will be taking turns to cover for each other.  Remember that this is a true back three and not a back five which is what that formation can sometimes mean.  Luis Enrique has played it various times in the second half of the season and Barça have created double the chances than with the usual 4-3-3.  But they've also conceded more goals and chances with this formation as it requires 100% concentration even in possession.

Another Barça cheating player diving again.  Messi this time and even feigns bleeding!!! :whistling:

Marcello is bleeding also...

Not intentional though. You could tell that by Marcelo's immediate reaction.

It was absolutely intentional. Marcelo hates Messi, have you seen the way he jumps after Ronaldo and throws his arm up in the air like Ronaldo's pathetic celebration.

Madrid kicking the shit out of Messi is nothing new, they do it every game.
