Madrid are as plastic as it gets and are funded by the Spanish government ...this all going to be funny in a few weeks xD

It’s a very odd statement to make when clubs are funded by a much worse totalitarian and fundamentally abusive state.

The summer 2023 transfer window for clubs in the 2023/24 Premier League is not yet open but deals for next season or exits have already been announced.

The 2023 English football summer transfer window runs from 10 June to 1 September 2023. Players without a club may be signed at any time, clubs may sign players on loan dependent on their league's regulations, and clubs may sign a goalkeeper on an emergency loan if they have no registered senior goalkeeper available.

All transfer fees are undisclosed unless otherwise stated.

Zeki Amdouni to Burnley

Burnley have signed Switzerland forward Zeki Amdouni from Basel for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old striker, who was top scorer with seven goals in the Europa Conference League last season, has signed a five-year deal.

Amdouni also scored 12 times in the Swiss Super League and has five goals in four games for Switzerland in Euro 2024 qualifying.

"Zeki is such a goal threat," said Burnley manager Vincent Kompany.

"He's been on our radar for quite a while now. The way he can play the final pass creates so many assists and thanks to the amount of work he puts in on the pitch he scores plenty himself.

"He's a very intelligent footballer, technically gifted and with a great work ethic. He's a big talent."

Amdouni has made an impressive start to his international career since his Switzerland debut in a 2-1 Nations League victory against the Czech Republic last September.

He scored his first senior goal for his country in his second match - a 5-0 Euro 2024 qualifying win in Belarus in March - and added four more in subsequent qualifiers against Israel, Andorra and Romania.

Marvelous Nakamba makes his move to Luton a permanent one.

Have not seen him waste possession once for Villa. But does not offer much at all going forward. Think that was what ultimately kept him behind direct corner scoring Douglas Luiz, McGinn & then other more recent players like Kamara & Ramsey. Add Tielemans & he was jostling for 6th choice with Sanson, who has returned from his loan back to France.

I remember predicting he'd seem like Kante in the Championship. Not sure how close that was to what happened, but Luton very happy to get him. And I hope he does well & gets regular playing time.
