Moderator Tommy Posted July 24, 2019 Author Moderator Share Posted July 24, 2019 Last time I saw him, it was in "The Last Kingdom", even thought he was in a bit of disguise, you just recognized those eyes and the voice. Funnily enough, the first time I saw him properly was in "GOAL" as Newcastle's manager People can think what they want, but that movie will always be a classic to me. Hmmm, from that movie I only remember the opening. A thing of beauty. nvm, I got confused. In Goal 2 he was of course. Manager or Real Madrid. Subscriber nudge+ Posted July 24, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted July 24, 2019 RIP Great actor. Blade Runner is of course great; but Escape from Sobibor and Flesh & Blood are probably my favourite movies of his.

Kowabunga
Great character actor. Aside from Blade Runner, he delivered the interpretations I like the most in Flesh & Blood and Ladyhawke. But pulling a Troy McClure, you might remember him from such goofy scifi films as Crossworlds or The Blood of Heroes, which they are also entertaining. I think the last I watched from him was Hobo with a Shotgun. RIP
IgnisExcubitor
Speaking of goofy flicks I have to add Buffy the Vampire slayer. Not as good as the series but it was good silly fun and as always he did his part well.
Administrator Batard Posted July 27, 2019 Administrator Share Posted July 27, 2019 He was good in True Blood too, which was camp as fuck by the time he rolled into the series. But the man had serious gravitas.
