Hmmm hard to choose when it comes to albums but I'd say Mutter and Reise, Reise are my most favourite ones... Even harder to chose favourite songs Mutter, Seemann, Spiel Mit Mir, Du Riechst So Gut, Sonne, Ohne Dich, Stein Um Stein, Feuer und Wasser, Mein Herz Brennt, Moskau, Reise Reise, Engel are probably the ones I like the most...2 points

Quite a a video. I imagine the song is much better with the film than without. I wonder what everyone's favorite facist Leverkusen fan would have made of it. Anyway people ought to be more provoked by people making cheap feely melodramas with WW2 as a background to ad emotion and earn more money.2 points

Well to be fair, that is not the full quote of what di Montezemolo said and cutting that sentence short takes a lot out of context and makes it look a bit like inflammatory clickbait... Full quote: "He was Alonso, not Alonso-Ferrari. When he wins, he’s happy. When he doesn’t win, it’s the problem of the team, he’s unhappy. In other words, he’s less close to the team than Michael and Niki, particularly in the difficult moments. To be close to the team in the good moments is easy. In terms of performance, Fernando was very good. For me, Alonso is with Hamilton and Vettel and in the race, he's very close to Michael. In the race, Alonso was and is a fantastic driver. He lost the championship not for his mistakes. If he won one championship, today we are talking about something different. We are talking that Alonso, despite many years he didn't have the best car, he was able to win the championship. Alonso is very strong."1 point

It's good when you work for someone who can get the balance between people and the job right... call it luck if you like but I have been fortunate enough to have worked under, and alongside some very good, clever and motivated people in my working life that taught me a lot in my younger years.. A long time ago in my very early youth I took a job as a lathe turner for a small shot blasting firm for a while, the money was pretty shit but kept me working for a bit and me and this other older bloke who had been there a few years used to have to go into Kingston every now and then to pick up tool parts and he always insisted on stopping at the pub on the way back for an hour or so.. He always got me a couple of pints even though I was pretty skint and I asked him why he kept on buying me drinks when I could never afford to buy him any back and he told me that one day I might be in a position where them roles were reversed and it would be me with the money and hoped that I would do the same for someone else if the opportunity arose... carried that with me all of my working life1 point

Yep. Great news and mostly it's a show of strength to China. Also, gives us a seat at the big players' table when it comes to the matters of space. Apparently, we had all the plans since the last decade, but the previous govt didn't allow the scientists to go ahead. The present government did. For all the stick that the present govt (and the ruling BJP party) gets (and some of it is justified), when it comes to taking strong decisions they have led the way. May it be the nuclear tests in the late nineties(the last time BJP was in power), or conducting military attacks on terrorist camps in Pakistan and Myanmar, or this. Also, we would have achieved a lot more in our space program if the Kerala branch of the Congress government hadn't imprisoned Nambi Narayanan (a leading scientist) under false spying charges. The man and the country lost more than two decades.1 point

He was a bit rough round the edges when I first came on board and he did thank me tonight for everything I had done for him but to be honest sometimes good people just need nudging in the right direction, the ability to be better is something they already possess and it's just nice if they realize that... He was just as helpful to me with all his experience when I first arrived as I was for him.. as I said, will be missed1 point

India joins the elite space power club by successfully testing the completely indigenous Anti-Satellite (A-SAT) missile today. Becomes only the fourth country in the world to have demonstrated such capability after the US, Russia and China. @Mel81x @IgnisExcubitor @AMG1 point

Fair play to the lad, If I were Kimmich she'd have had 9 babies already or she'd have a small rod in her arm in addition to the big one up her guts.1 point

All of the people on this march and signing this petition that originally voted Leave I have no sympathy for. Can't be arsed with people cry arsing about how they didn't know all the facts and now they do they've changed their mind. Perhaps do your research next time you're going to vote on something as big as this? I maintain that the campaigners on both sides were completely irresponsible in allowing their point scoring crusades to get in the way of presenting actual facts in favour of their side of the referendum, but voting either way without reading the information (and the information was out there if you looked past the front pages and news channels on television who invariably have their own agenda regardless of what anyone says) is completely stupid and makes me despise our electorate even more. I'd love to think that people who now realise that they should have read up on stuff before deciding which way to vote will at least have learned a life lesson about their responsibilities as members of a democratic society but you know they'll do the same thing in the next election or important vote.1 point

If you’re in a job and your wages have been stagnant for a decade then it’s really quite simple, Leave. Companies are only going to pay you if they value you and if they’re not giving £ then you’re probably not valued by them. Also if you’re forced into “unstable work” then do something about it, most don’t, they sit on their arse smoke a joint and rant about the system. I’m from the gutter, those who work hard try to better themselves get on those who believe they need to be kept by the state rot. Out of the group of lads I grew up with out of a dozen 5 (including myself) have got on and are enjoying middle class lifestyles now. The others are still rotting, do you know the difference? Benefit us 5 have never claimed a penny, you get laid off (which has happened I had a month of no work aged 19) the next day 9-5 you look for a job and you keep going. The others flounce in and out of work, are unreliable and sign on straightaway. They half arse interviews do token job hunts etc. The safety net encourages laziness and lack of personal accountability, they’re getting their dole. Of course illness & circumstances should be exceptions but if you’re 20+ not working fit and healthy you’re a waster. Also worth pointing out that idleness has a massive impact on mental health and well being so pandering to idelness just exacerbates the problem. Corbyn would just increase the stagnation, it’s in a nutshell why socialism as an economic system always fails. It sounds great but in reality as great as you sound with your “Rich Bad / Poor Good” spiel, reality interjects and essentially you socialists are just flogging a chocolate teapot. Also on wages a good rule of thumb is once you’re 25 you should be earning similar amount in cash per annum. Eg 30-30k etc if you’re not you’re failing at life. I don’t I’m in the high earning tax bracket aged 33 and I have 0 higher education qualifications. But yeah social mobility blah blah. The harsh reality is there is social mobility, but not for those that don’t offer much. Socialists tend to fall into this category, it’s why they become so bitter north of 30. €28k or $32k a year puts you in the global 1%.1 point

Children of Men 9/10 This movie was an instant classic, but it gets better and better the more dystopian the world becomes.1 point
