  1. Winning the league is normally done by being consistent against the poorer sides in the league. There's not always that one defining tie where the crowd can play their part as well as the players. Ask Liverpool players why they're inspired on a European night or why Chelsea or City players shit themselves at Anfield despite being way ahead of Liverpool sides in the league. City's fans just don't inspire them at home either. There's always an aura around these sides that are historically successful in Europe. You can't buy that, as City and PSG have found out.

Temazo! @Berserker

  4. Normally a signing would only get a two or three year deal, and a three year deal would be only at the 'bigger' club (Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs). Things are a bit different for players already at the club, like Scott McKenna at Aberdeen is signed through 2024, players who have 'proved' themselves. After reading the club's press release, seems the signing came from the linkup with Atlanta United and their knowledge of South American players.

  5. I'm sorry. Is this some sort of British joke that I'm too European to understand?

  6. Sounds like a dodgy transfer link you get from someone claiming to be in the know

  7. Feel like I’ve been mis-sold here. Someone up the road started letting off fireworks bang on 11. Genuinely a Brexit Party going on up the road.

  8. If Bruges is the outcome let me know how it goes. I'd like to go there and would like recommendations of what to do/where to go. Aside from that, San Sebastian is one of my favourite places. Plenty to do over a long weekend and you won't get bored. Could even tie in with a Real Sociedad match? I'd recommend Valencia but perhaps may need longer than long weekend. Definitely still enough to do if you did choose to go. How about Copenhagen? Expensive but only about an hour's flight so plenty of time to actually be there instead of up in the air.

  10. Yea.. that Eminem album. I think it got slightly better hooks than his two previous albums. The variety and better features I think make this his best one of the last three but it's by such a small margin that it's still rather forgettable. It has his ups and downs and it's not bad for the whole of it (should be shorter with less "filler tracks") but in the end just more evidence that Eminem has long fallen as a musician. Does he still think rapping fast is enough to make a good track? You'd think he had something more to say since Revival but not really - I can't listen to another second of him rapping about his critics or really any of his other corny shit. I'm not even necessarily looking for meaningful or smart lyrics, but at least give me a good track with a good hook... a banger. Eminem manages to give us the worst of both worlds. I still have huge respect for Eminem and he used to be somewhat of an idol of mine growing up as he was for many of my generation, so his consecutive insufferable releases have been especially difficult to cope with.
