  1. Latest update: 28060 confirmed cases (+3697 since yesterday) - 3859 of those in serious or critical condition (+640). 24702 suspected cases (+1442). 564 deaths (+73). 1153 recoveries (+261). 282813 close contacts of the infected have been tracked (+30659); 186354 are under medical observation (+799). Pretty much the same trends as in the last few days. The total of international cases (including Hongkong, Taiwan and Macau) has risen to 258 (+30). The biggest contribution to the new total comes from Japan once again (12 new cases; 45 in total). There have been 10 new cases in the cruise ship Diamond Princess quarantined off the coast of Yokohama and there's also another one (World Dream) docked Hong Kong's Kai Tak Cruise Terminal with around 30 staff members reportedly suffering from the symptoms. That's more than 5300 people in total on the two ships so the numbers of confirmed cases might grow again in the next few day. Singapore, South Korea and Hongkong have also confirmed several new cases each. New case in the US (Wisconsin).

  3. Found an interactive live-updating map by BNO that marks cities with confirmed cases. Here's the screen capture for the lazy: And here's the ink to the actual interactive map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1a04iBi41DznkMaQRnICO40ktROfnMfMx This is a brilliant resource.

  4. Is Rice actually any good or do we just assume he's supposed to be good because there was publicity over which country he'd choose? I've never really been that impressed by him, long way to go. Dier would be a painful inclusion. For me it has to he Henderson, Winks and Grealish. I agree that the momentum has gone in Oxlade-Chamberlain's direction since the turn of the year. Maddison has cooled slightly, Grealish is inexperienced at international level and it's always hard to judge the stand out player in a struggling team. Mount started the season very well but I dont think he's ready to be in this conversation. You know Barkley ends up getting more minutes than any of them though, for some reason. Don't rule out Alli either. If he has a good end to the season he probably trumps the lot of them.

  5. Weirdly enough it's geoblocked on youtube but not on the Sportschau website https://www.sportschau.de/fussball/allgemein/video-karten-pfiffe-fette-baesse---schiedsrichter-deniz-aytekin--100.html Cheers for sharing; will watch it later. But I think it's incredible how Aytekin improved in recent years. Definitely my most favourite referee in the Bundesliga atm.

  6. This is probably geo restricted, but a very interesting and insightful video on Deniz Aytekin or refereeing in general.

  7. Ok, I see about Agu, at least they've secured the deal now, but they will have to avoid relegation without him. Still I think that Selke and Vogt can help do the job and keep Werder in the top tier. Yes, Werder have a lot of important players on loan and they will probably want to buy them on a permanent basis in the summer, so I see your point. It's similar to Frankfurt last season. We had many players on loan. So we decided to buy most of them on a permanent basis in the summer, but we sold 2 important strikers for big transfer fees and we loaned a 3rd forward out. Mykhaylychenko is a product of Dynamo Kyiv's youth system and he has been capped by Ukraine at various youth levels. But the 22 year old has played his best football yet in the league and he has been praised a lot by the sporting press in Ukraine for his improved performances. Obviously the Ukrainian league is much weaker than the German Bundesliga, but he does look very talented. Obviously he is not on the level of Augustinsson yet, but he could give Friedl a run for his money if he were to join Werder. Either way, Werder have more pressing matters right now and the fight for survival is what will be their main concern.

  8. Agu comes on a free transfer in summer but I agree with the rest of it. Vogt is sadly on loan only with no option to buy; hope we can still arrange a permanent transfer in the summer (if we stay up) though but it doesn't seem likely. We'll be also spending money on Toprak and Bittencourt if we stay up so there won't probably be much money left for additional signings of Vogt's caliber. Don't know anything about Mykhaylychenko I'm afraid.

  11. Just reading a random news story about councils setting up secret cameras to catch local fly tippers and as I am reading through it there is a bit about a woman who got fined £400 for dumping black bags in the area... funny bit for me was that it was her own daughter who dobbed her in after she was pissed off about being grounded...

  12. You're welcome. And I agree with Aytekin. He was laughable 5-6 years ago, and now he's unarguably one of the best referees in Germany. Another funny thing is, his goal in life is to be a DJ at Tomorrowland one day. He's a DJ in his free time. Not something I would have expected to be honest.
