  2. I'm fine with the same schedule as last year tbh. Nürburgring, Imola, Portimao, Istanbul.... let's go there again.

  3. Jokes aside, DTM could be interesting this year. They move from silhouette to GT3 spec cars, then we have a Jenson Button team (McLaren) and Keke Rosberg team competing, now it seems Red Bull will be backing a team as well...

  4. Albon in DTM, huh? I hope they don't race him too hard.

  5. Cooked Uzbek-style Plov with lamb for the first time today... My grandma used to cook it when I was a kid, and I haven't eaten it for years. Served with a simple tomato & onion salad.

  6. Appreciate it John. As well as everyone else that donated just before the Christmas period. You're all legends for keeping the forum going year in year out.

  10. I slept for 10 hours last night and feel better today. Just need to chill the fuck out I think. But the problem is, everything can change in a second. It's always on the back of your head.

  11. Glad it turned out “okay” @Carnivore Chris. Look after yourself. I think I burnt out a couple of months ago with work and life. It reached the point of being very negative and snapping at my bosses and resulted in me breaking down in front of one of them. It all became too much. I took way more on than I should have been and I also bottled stuff up and didn’t seek support from others which resulted in an out of the blue moment or two. I also later developed a lot of physical symptoms that I’m still getting over but all testing I’ve had have come back fine. Stress and anxiety can have serious implications and we all need to take time to reset or switch off. I use this forum as an outlet I guess, sometimes going off and being angry at little things which I am not usually like in person. It’s quite a realisation that maybe all hasn’t been too well in the past. I have so many good things ahead of me and now I’ve moved into my very own home with my partner, I’m hoping this further helps me. Didn’t intend to post the above, but it’s important to just get things off the chest every now and then.

  12. Obviously only you know your body but one of the key things for managing panic attacks for me is knowing the panic attack normally starts at the chest pains and not a few symptoms after, being able to sleep through a chest pain when you’re certain it’s nothing to worry about is a good skill to help quash them imo, but again only you will know your body and that might take a while to learn. For me one thing my late 20s taught me is the difference between having a heart attack and needing a shit and a lot of the time I’ve probably not eaten well or been managing my body and it eventually builds up into chest pains.

  13. It turns out it must have been panic attacks, which have the same symptoms as heart attacks, which is why I was shitting myself. The pain also lingers on an off but is in areas you associate with more serious physical health conditions. It randomly came on while simply watching Tele at midnight or so the other night, which was weird. It's not covid though mate, I've had none of the main symptoms and I've never even thought of it being that, but potential heart attacks or a stroke. Scary, but it feels alot more dangerous than it actually is from a physical perspective. The symptoms are similar to a heart attack or heart failure which was the scare. I'd never had them before nor ever thought I'd be prone to them. I would say I've always had a bit of anxiety as I'm always a bit fidgety and hyper but it's not something that affects me in public, I mean I wouldn't go to camp nou on my own, for example, if it did. I do like chilling in, but you need a balance, even if it's just working all week. I always associated these attacks with someone who is agoraphobic. I think it's the opposite for me and being stuck in the same house too much drives me nuts. I've been lazy for 2 months and sat in alot. This along with a change in sleep pattern, thinking too much and getting wound up all caught up on me. It happened 3 times in 3 days before I went to the hospital, as I thought my heart was packing in. The shock from the first caused the second 2 I think as my mind was racing. What I would say, is chill out, don't let issues going on wind you up too much and look after yourself. I've noticed @RandoEFC getting wound up alot in recent months and I would say relax because you could cause yourself alot of unneeded stress. @CaaC (John) the problem with many of us men is actually going to the hospital in the first place. We'd do anything to hold it off, but if you go, they can make you better, or in my case, reassure you.
