Another walk this morning.

I find bureaucracy inhumane in general. Pointless maze of procedures is so normal to them they don't feel any human empathy and if they're corrupt they can be like silent serial killers. Must be a very tough situation. Thinking about future of yourself and family if showed resistance or getting framed, caught even if complying a little with their demands. P. S I thought this was the mental health thread

Nope. I'm not that much into fantasy, especially not the whole dragons & magic stuff. But I heard they are making it into a show, and will give it a go to see what all the fuss is about. The only high fantasy book series I truly love is Zelazny's The Chronicles of Amber. Now they should try and make that into a TV show...

I must admit, I was starting to wonder why we hadn't seen James Rodriguez for a while. Until today. Now, it all makes perfect sense. Ok, I know what you're thinking. Bullshit. Finally got back into watching Mr. Robot!

I am afraid I have tested positive for COVID-19 on the rapid flow test. The NHS are now going to send me a PCR test in the next 2 days.

A friend's dad committed suicide, he was a govt employee and was being bullied by his senior officers into doing something shaddy. He's not even a close friend but it's the first time I've seen something like this in my circle. Must be very hard for people who are directly related.

As per above, Evalyn passed away last night, gutted, so is the wife and because of the lockdown we could not go and visit her in the hospital and now we can't even go to her funeral, life can be a bastard sometimes. Edit, 17th June: Just found out from Evalyn's hubby that we can go to her funeral, it's only family and a few friends that can attend as by the coronavirus rules on funerals so we can say a proper good by, God bless her, leaving here shortly for the funeral.
