  1. I was born and lived in the Tilbury Docks area before we emigrated and it was a rough dock area, we had gangs around there too, I lived in Stevenson's Avenue and our gang were called the ' Top End Street Gang' or TESG in short and at the bottom of the street we had the other gang called BESG. Back in my days, we had the old fashioned tin dustbins with tin covers with a handle, many a time we had a battle with the other gang on the local field called the Daisy Field, we would use the bin lids as shields and have sticks or fence poles as weapons and it was a bloody lethal battle. It would only end when the local Bobby on his bike and uniform came frantically riding up yelling at us until we dropped our lids and sticks and fucking legged it and left the poor Bobby to pick up all the dustbin lids and replace them back in the street bins we had nicked them from.

  2. Our daughters pretty well aware of things like that buddy, she grew up with animals and was even with me in the RSPCA for a couple of years, I do love cat's though. We had a cat many moons ago down South named Jasper, I remember sitting there in the lounge and then the wife screamed, I looked around and there was Jasper, sitting there with his tail swishing looking at me with a live frog in his mouth, he dropped it and it started to hop all over the place until I managed to catch it and put it back out in the garden. That's just a cat's way of giving you something in appreciation, he even came walking in one day with a dead field mouse in his mouth looking at me as if to say " Here is a present for you from me..."

  3. In 2014, a Russian man attempted to rob a hair salon. However, the plot took an unexpected turn when Olga Zajac, the owner of the salon, overpowered him and tied him up. She then force-fed him Viagra and used him as a sex slave for 3 days. I bet he broke in there on purpose...

  14. I know you don't want to hear it and it's not even wishful thinking on my part because I'm sick of the three "money is no object" clubs in the Premier League but it's hard to see how Liverpool remain competitive with them in the long term. Klopp and Edwards have both done an exceptional job in the transfer market and with the players brought in, but they won't be around forever. Unlike Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea who can just bounce back and try again with another £200m every 6 months, a bad transfer window or the wrong managerial appointment after Klopp could set Liverpool back for more than a single season and it would be incredibly difficult to build back with another series of signings with such a good hit rate like they managed with the current squad. If they can keep getting more or less everything right in the long run then fair play, but it's hard to imagine that the financial gap can be bridged by clever management indefinitely. I'm not even saying this as an Everton fan who wants to see this either. Right now it just feels like those three clubs are moving to a level propped up by Financial 'Fair' Play that will become unassailable even for a team like Liverpool and I think that's just shite.

  15. We are getting rid of squad players and not replacing them. It’s like they have learned nothing from last season. I’m fed up of debating it on here, because nobody seems to think of the “what if?” scenarios. Had the same push back last summer when we let Lovren go, was told I was being spoilt by wanting another quality centre half in, look what happened there when our two injury prone centre backs ended up injured (Van Dijk’s you can’t account for). We lose Salah, Jota or Mane in that forward line we have very little quality to come in. I’m not listening to any bollocks about us being too skint either, because that’s bullshit. Yes, we have signed Konate, but that’s been offset by player sales. Yes, we have extended contracts and given pay rises but that should be covered by the new Nike deal and other new commercial partners we have. The prize money for qualifying for champions league football, the prize money for winning the league, the prize money for winning the champions leagues. Very little investment relative to the money brought in through performing in those competitions. Henry and co showed their greed in the super league debacle, so I don’t think it’s too outrageous to say that their greed is responsible for us having a much weaker squad than all three teams we are competing with. I am dreading when Klopp leaves us in a couple of years. He squeezes every single ounce of this squad, he is the prime reason we have kept us near those three I have mentioned.
