  2. Milan and Como are different class. It just kept delivering, something different each day. Missus and I love learning of the history of the places we visit and Milan has it in abundance. Como's views are just unreal. City and location that keeps on giving. Duomo Cathedral - the size of this historical building is ridiculous. And then the city-wide views from the rooftop are sensational. Aerial view if Lake Como after taking a cable car up one or the mountains. Again, the views of Northern Italy all the way to the Swiss border are just something else: San Siro - couldn't go to Milan and not visit here! Shame it's due to be knocked down, but to be honest there's all the history of it but not much else to say once you're within it. The museums are great. Plenty of memorabilia accumulated. Navigli - this is one of the canals running through this section of Milan and this small region. Lovely view up and down the canals. Can tell why its a popular spot for tourists. Overall, Milan is a beautiful city with so much to offer. A bit on the expensive side but not extortionate. The food is delicious. Freshness and authentic in equal measure. Only 2hrs from UK so typically easy to get to. Would seriously recommend! Above is just a selection of photos, too. Out of a few hundred taken, hard to narrow down!

  4. Totally on board with allowing people with no self control to have arms in public, In case you ever need to defend yourself from people who don't know how to give out the correct amount of salad dressing... Go America!!

  5. There's a few factors to take in there, surely? The vaccinated/unvaccinated thing is nothing to do with Wimbledon. That's more to do with the rules of the country that's hosting the tournament. I don't agree with the Russia/Belarus ban for players - the war is something they probably have nothing to do with. US Open - Djokovic is unlikely to play in that as US don't allow unvaccinated foreign travellers.

  7. I don't know if @RandoEFC you listen to podcasts, but give trashfuture a go. It's got free weekly episodes on youtube. And something like $7 a month for extra weekly content. Seems up your alley.

  8. Fuck me, did you survive an abortion?

  9. Are you aware of what's actually happening now though? The states shown below are implementing bans on abortion. Not curtailments. For example Texas, which previously legislated a 6 week limit on abortion now has a law coming in 30 days that will outright ban all abortions from the moment of fertilisation with the only exception being to save the life of the mother.... Rape and incest are not sufficient grounds for an abortion.

  10. Orphans cost the nation BILLIONS. Plus the fucked up reality of being raised by strangers and what that does to people. Of course abortion should be regulated. So 74% of people are sane. But that doesn't mean they don't want the ability to have that choice you pillock. Driving is regulated. walking across the road is regulated. Fuck you're dense.

  11. Yeah, I agree with that fully. I think it's mental that some people expect things made decades ago to conform to modern day standards when really in the last 10 years alone there's been a lot of change to what's considered socially acceptable and what isn't. And it's also mental to just suggest that people not watch films, TV, or listen to music made decades ago because it doesn't comply with modern standards either.

  12. On 23 June, all COVID 19 regulations ended in South Africa. If only they can do something about Privatising our electrical grid to stop it going the way South African Airways, Telkom, Transnet, The Post Office did after becoming state entities. Had another week of level 2 load shedding, 2x2hour outages in a day, that is the smell of progress.

  13. There are always those that have to go a bit far.... I would love to sit down with those decision makers and ask what their thinking was behind this idea?? A school near Manchester has banned its pupils from any physical contact with each other whatsoever, including hugging and play fighting. Mossley Hollins High School brought in the ‘no contact’ rule stating that ‘no student should ever be touching another student’. This includes a ban on ‘carrying of other students, cuddling, or play fighting’, including during their breaktime and lunch hour, saying this will ‘not be tolerated’. The school on Huddersfield Road in Greater Manchester said it had brought in the rule to ‘further improve our positive school culture’. School bans hugging as part of zero-tolerance policy to physical contact (msn.com)
