  3. Classic. They always play it in our stadium shortly before the 2nd half begins.

  4. Just gonna say that Gary Neville is full of fucking shite slagging off the ‘Americanisation’ of football when he is one of the greatest benefactors of the commercialisation of English football. The Premier League, Sky Sports, and Man United whoring the selves out to every global customer is something he has been a part of and grown wealthy from since his first match. I feel bad for the United fans that remember before this being the case, watching their club be the flagship of soulless corporate football that has emerged since 1992. I can’t even imagine what to feels like for something that is meant to be a sense of community becoming a product to be sold.

  5. Hasn't Ukraine already declared it a war, it's Russia that hasn't. Armenia's triggered CSTO asking Russia for assistance & Georgia's holding a referendum to see whether the population supports driving out the Russians from Ossetia. Looks like Azerbaijan and Georgia are either taking advantage of how stretched Russia is, or they've been told by a west this is a good time to press their claims. Because realistically, Russia's not going to be able to keep up a fight against a NATO equipped Ukraine, while also needing to protect its allies under CSTO and protect its separatist republic it played a part in setting up. Putin cant project strength if his peacekeepers are essentially worthless. But if Russia does declare a war, they can start conscription and start throwing bodies at these conflicts. But that's now potentially 4 fronts of active conflict for Russia - Ukraine, Azerbaijan-Armenia (where they're meant to be keeping the peace), and Syria (propping up Assad), and potentially Georgia. Even with conscription, I don't think Russia can enjoy success on all fronts. Especially as Georgia would likely receive NATO backing as well.

  6. Glad all is okay mate. Had the brother in law go missing for a few days back in 2020. Terribly frightening.

  7. What an awful bloody Friday night and all day Saturday up until around six o clock last night because one of our great, great, nephews went missing in Dunbar on Friday night, his bike was found lying on the ground. There was me and the wife just sitting here nervous as fuck while members of the family, neighbours and others went searching for him but thank fuck police sniffer dogs traced and found him but there are a lot of questions that need answering like how he managed to cross a major motorway to the spot he was found with a sprained foot? There was me down with a virus all week, felt better Friday so thought I would have a bottle of wine Saturday night with the wife and relax but as soon as the wife got a call from family about him going missing that was the drink put on hold and we sat there expecting the worse. Thank god, though, when the police found him and thank fuck for police sniffer dogs, I sank 2 bloody bottles of wine after that with the wife gulping down here too. A bit of a hangover now but it was worth it, the young lad was one of many great, great nephews we have in our 70-odd years of life and all around Dunbar & Dalkeith last night family and friends were relieved he was found ok.
