I agree. I'd be open to them boosting tweets from paying customers AND public figures, but it's not right to use the blue tick as interchangeable, nor force the public figures to pay for making the massive contribution they do to Twitter that is why the users are there in the first place

Find it quite odd people bemoan some tendencies of modern football, dont know whether you're one of them mind but there arte certainly a few on this forums, still on the other hand always want to see good players concentated at the biggest clubs, which is one of the most damaging developments of modern football, in my honest opinion. Actually would like to see more excellent players at medium sized first tier clubs. That would strenghten the competetion in many leagues, including the English Premier League.

Living in Germany I can guarantee you, Germany is one of the richest nations in the world. I may be in the minority here, but I actually love Twitter as a platform. It's by far the best social network for me to follow news, research and people in specific areas I'm interested in. That said, I stay clear of everything else and avoid the popular interests and events discussions between regular plebs, so that might cloud my judgement. As for the latest developments, I do wonder if anything will change now that Musk acquired it. The only thing I gathered so far is that he'll want to focus on targeted advertising on the platform.
