  3. Thought I was going to be the first one to mention it as the last post here was July for me until I clicked it. I just thought nobody wanted to talk to me in the Gloryhunter World Cup thread. Direct messages aren't working either.

  5. Yeah, no chance of that happening Same with Adidas, they are too busy abusing workers worldwide themselves Telekom are too heavily involved with both DFB and Bayern. And it will be probably a similar case with most other partners, most likely.

  6. Granted, they already announced earlier that they will not be extending the DFB deal which ends this year, but this is still a very good example of the company's PR management reacting to the public opinion. Clever move by REWE, especially given the time of the year and Christmas approaching; let's see if any other sponsors follow their lead.

  7. For real. Now, on the frontpage it shows me that John posted here 10 minutes ago, even though you posted more recently.

  8. Infantino at work. Also fuck, it still keeps adding those previous images to all my new posts in this thread despite me deleting them, and then I have to edit post to remove them again manually.

  10. Well it’s on multiple devices, so it may be internal. I had an issue the other day for the prediction thread

  11. The Hamilton-Russell dynamic is certainly going to be interesting. You can't sniff at the fact that George beat Lewis in the standings and won the team's only race of the season. However, Hamilton actually out-performed Russell for most of the season. Dropped a lot of points after a sloppy start but then generally had the better of him for most of the year. By that point, though, the car was miles clear of the midfield and Lewis was only scratching back a few points over George for finishing a place or two above him in the top six. It's going to be difficult for them if they're in a championship fight with Red Bull, for example. Perez simply won't take points off Max on a regular basis but Lewis and George will. I think Lewis tones down his mistakes and finds more consistency when he has a championship-contending car and therefore something to lose from going all out for a win/podium. He would beat George over the course of the year in these circumstances but not every weekend, and those weekends could cost him a title against Max. Depends what the competitive order looks like though. Mercedes may have improved in the back end of the season and nicked a win, but as things stand, they still have a long, long way to go to catch Red Bull for next year.

  13. I expect Red Bull to be the favorites next year as well, just with less distance to the rest of the field. Ferrari for now don't have a team capable of fighting for a championship and I doubt that'll change in 100 days. Mercedes will probably be a lot closer. I'm really curious though what will happen there in terms of the driver order. Normally Lewis is still the faster driver, but if Russell can hold on to the consistency he showed through the first half of 2022, he'll be tough to beat in the same car.

  15. Honestly, it probably comes down to the amount of pressure that are put on players at bigger clubs. At Freiburg players are nurtured and I really do think that environment brings out the best in them. Hell, I'd run through brick walls for Streich.

  16. Watched the first episode of Tulsa King yesterday. Created by Taylor Sheridan and starring Sylvester Stallone, who plays a New York mafia capo released from prison after 25 years and sent to Tulsa to set up his business there. Didn't have any expectations for it, but ended up really enjoying the first episode. Basically, a pulpy, brainless gangster dramedy. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16358384/
