Originally wanted to post this in our Uli Hoeneß thread. That is archived, though. Therefore more of FC Hollywood in this thread. Hoeneß made serious allegations against Thomas Tuchel on a press meeting.Shortly before Bayern's match versus Frankfurt the manager reacted in an interview- here's a report albeit in German:

I'm fully aware Hoeneß was argueably the most important person in whole of Bayern's history, and the club hadn't that rich a trophy cabinet and the reputation as an absolute European giant without his work. It's even doubtful whether they would be German record champions now, if it wasn't for his time as a General Manager. Nonetheless Hoeness tarnished his good name in the later stage of his career , all by his own doing, through statements that were debatable to ridiculous. Also he declared he would withdraw from day to day business, when he retired as GM to become Honorary President. baring that in mind it would probably be wiser, if Hoeneß would stay away from such media events or at least just kept quiet about things that have nothing to do with his actual role, in my honest opinion. On the other hand am delighted Bayern return to their legendary "FC Hollywood" routine, that's usually very entertaining for a neutral spectator.
