Sounds corrupt as, probably going to end in tears.

That said, if it means getting rid of Ashley it's probably worth going for.

Don't think Citeh, Chelsea, or PSG are complaining too much about their corrupt oil barons tbh.

Feels like the end of the Ashley era, I don't think he is going to accept the bid - Craig Hope has already said as much, but it's a positive sign that the due diligence went well and that the interest is genuine. Hopefully we are sold by January.

Like I say this is the first time it feels like the end of Ashley, not just smokescreens and bullshit.

Do you guys really believe that the fat slob is going to go easy?

The club is a very attractive entity,  even without PL. The potential is enormous. Ashley knows that. He won't go easy until he gets a big deal. Don't see him selling the club that quickly.

He won't go easy because money doesn't matter to him. Unless he gets an offer that he'd be stupid to refuse he will just say no. Can't see him selling the club for its true value.

It would be typical if he fucks this up for us.

The financial times say staveley has offered £250m because of the ongoing tax fraud investigation and the threat of relegation. Another source said she wants compensation off Ashley if we get relegated. He won't agree to that.

Did Shay Given really suggest Newcastle going for Alexis Sanchez if they get a cash injection? There's stupidity, then there's that shite.

He said if they have endless amounts of money they could get Sanchez like Man City got Robinho.

Will Sanchez track back to help Paul Dummett out though?

125th anniversary of the club. Here is the greatest Newcastle team voted for by the fans:

Shay Given

David Craig - Bobby Moncur - Philipe Albert - John Beresford

Peter Beardsley - Paul Gascoigne - David Ginola

Jackie Milburn - Alan Shearer - Kevin Keegan

In true Newcastle United style this team just simply won't be able to defend xD

but you'll have a centre-back that can lob great goal-keepers from outside the box!

Not to mention a striker that kicks opposition players in the face and threaten not to play for England again if he gets punished for it
