Administrator Stan Posted February 20, 2020 Author Administrator Posted February 20, 2020 No defensive midfielder available - Mendy injured, Ndidi injured, Choudhury suspended. We're fucked, basically. Can see Praet and/or Tielemans playing a bit deeper with Maddison further up. Can see us scoring first but still losing, like the reverse. We paid them too much respect in that game and with out defensive midfield predicament, can only see the same happening. We can hope that some of their players will have one eye on Real Madrid game in midweek but with a Pep team, it's a one-game focus and I can't see them losing much focus on Saturday. Can see Mahrez scoring 1 or 2 if he's in the mood. And De Bruyne having a field day if he fancies it. Schmeichel Pereira - Soyuncu - Evans - Chilwell Tielemans - Praet Perez - Maddison - Barnes Vardy The other alternative is go 3 at the back and have Pereira/Chilwell as wing-backs... Schmeichel Soyuncu - Bennett - Evans Pereira --------------------------------------------- Chilwell Tielemans Praet - Maddison Vardy - Barnes/Iheanahco
Subscriber Dan+ Posted February 20, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 20, 2020 No Ndidi, no Choudhury, no Mendy. It's a case of how many we lose by. Couldn't think of a worse team to face without any kind of holding mid available.

Sit back with holding players and ya dead.

Best way to beat City is to attack them. They are shite defensively but absolutely world class if given time and space to attack.
Happy Blue Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Don't worry, we resting players for the CL, not bothered about the league now this season, only got a treble left to play for

Subscriber Dan+ Posted February 20, 2020 Subscriber Posted February 20, 2020 I cannot call our line-up at all. I wonder if he'll go with a back three. I think nowadays you've got to have some sort of holding midfield. Tell me a side worth their salt that don't. To have all of them out is very unlucky. Choudhury's the most infuriating of all as his first booking wasn't even a foul.
Dave Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 That's Vardy's form at the minute summed up. The ball curled on to the post.
God is Haaland Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 I thought Vardy had enough momentum, time and space to feint a shot and run around the keeper. Low confidence?
Machado Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 I foresee Leicester scoring on the counter. Man City haven't been that creative despite all the possession.
God is Haaland Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 VAR now needs 25 minutes to decide this isn't a handball penalty and will admit it was a penalty after the match has ended.
Rick Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Ederson clearly doesnt have an eye on the ball at all. If he gets away without punishment in the form of either a penalty or a sending off then it’s laughable. Edit: no punishment, fuck off.
God is Haaland Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Can anyone explain to me how VAR works in BPL?
Dave Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Just now, God is Haaland said: Can anyone explain to me how VAR works in BPL? None of us know any more.

Machado Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Some of the decision making by many of Leicester's players has been nothing but disastrous. Playing with their hearts rather than their brains if that makes sense.
