Only prior to the 80s and in the south was wrestling taken as a serious piece of entertainment. Had someone told most Arsenal fans at the start of the summer that we wouldn't be signing anyone, I'm sure we'd all be saying they're mad. But the way things have panned out with a couple that are on their final contractual season and other factors on sales, then this is going to be one hell of a season. It's probably the most curious season we've had at Arsenal for many a year in my view... The whole thing is a mystery and I have no idea what to expect. Will Wenger pull from the youth setup? If he does that, he could actually save himself a lot of flack because surely the fans won't turn on their own, I know I won't. But if the same old play with the reduced numbers we now have. Walcott is by no means a world beater but it's easy to forget he bagged 19 goals last season. Which is more than Ox managed in his whole Arsenal career pretty much. Not to forget he missed more games than he played at Arsenal through injury. One of the most hot and cold players around and 8 times out of 10 he's cold.
