Have Arsenal got any defenders left? Luiz back from suspension?

He got a straight red against City, he should miss out Brighton and Southampton with the former already passed.

you only get a 3 match ban if its dangerous play.

Arsenal will get outdone in all departments, how can they expect to win a game when they cant score, get dominated in midfield and cant defend.

Yeah think you are correct. For some reason i thought two yellows one game, straight red two games and violent conduct three or more games. I was right about them all apart from the two game for a straight red.

1-0 huge mistake from McCarthy which Nketiah pounced on. Good start from us, liking the 3 at the back, definitely our best formation with our current options.

The kind of goal I'd have expected us to concede, not score. I'll take that.

We have been dreadful this second half, just as I wrote this Stephens sent off. Massive for us because Southampton looked like equalising.

2-0 Willock, rebound from the resulting free kick. Very good for us, not very well deserved but I'll take it.

That's surely over. After the last two matches, I'm actually surprised because I think Arsenal have looked pretty poor since the season resumed and Southampton looked pretty decent. But a good first half from Arsenal, with an... alright, I guess if you compare to the last two matches, second half coupled with that red card + goal... I think that's nailed on a big 3 points for Arsenal here as they just try to get the best possible finish they can for this season as a marker to try to smash passed next season.

Arsenal were dominated in that 2nd half but they were gifted that goal after Southampton couldn't capitalise on the pressure they had.

2 gifts for goals pretty much.

Comfortable win. Which was surprising. Xhaka has been the best outfield player under Arteta and we definitely missed him in the two previous games. Holding and Mustafi (who has also been good under Arteta) need to be the starting pair in defence. David Luiz can be cheerleader.

Southampton are a fringe top six team at their best but they're equally capable of throwing in an absolute shocker.

Arsenal got lucky with 2 mistakes from Southampton,  the attacking play of Arsenal is just so poor and predictable, no real build up play, Auba has hardly been involved in the last 3 games.

You do love to moan. I know there is a lot to moan about at the moment at arsenal but you are definitely one of lives moaners

Just very frustrated watching this shite, when you see other teams with far less resources doing much better.
