It’s his last year with us, so that’s basically his Liverpool career over. I feel for him, but I didn’t think he’d ever play for us again after the CL final.
Spike Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 1-2 Arsenal, thus making everyone think Arsenal are better than they which leads to shock and awe when Arsenal finish 9th.

Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted September 28, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 28, 2020 Good defending there by Luiz.
Dr. Gonzo Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Lotta pace on that but straight at Leno
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted September 28, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 28, 2020 This season will probably rack up the most amount of goals denied by the goalposts.
Danny Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Lucky goal to an extent, but made by Arsenal’s system of counter attacking that the players seem to be completely natural with now
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted September 28, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 28, 2020 That's just poor defending after applying so much pressure. Robertson should be doing better there.
Dr. Gonzo Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Just like our last match against Arsenal. Run or play all with us and then a stupid mistake.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 28, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 28, 2020 Is that the biggest commentators curse of all time from Gary Neville talking about Liverpool's press?
Inverted Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Liverpool's defenders over the last few months have basically gifted Mikel Arteta his reputation as a manager.
Rick Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Oh fuck off. Just handed them that on a plate. Been so comfortable up till then an all.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted September 28, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 28, 2020 That's the reply I want. Get in there.
Danny Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Good run from Salah but shocking defending from Tierney
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted September 28, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 28, 2020 What a pass by Trent.
Dr. Gonzo Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Andy makes up for the mistake in a pretty big way there!
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted September 28, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 28, 2020 I'm surprised people don't compare Salah to Messi more often. I'm not putting him in the same tier (although one day, even if it's not until he's 40, we're going to have a conversation about whether someone has surpassed Messi on current ability which should be amusing but that's for another day) but they're really similar players in so many ways. I imagine it's because if you ever try and mention it legions of Messi fanboys will literally sacrifice you to their god because they'll take it as a slight when I'm actually comparing them stylistically, not on their ability. 2-1 now. That opening goal the worst thing that could have happened to Arsenal by the looks of it.

Inverted Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Nicely worked goal for Robertson at the back post. For all the hype over their start to the season I've not really seen anything from Arsenal. Liverpool have found it slow-going to get around their press but otherwise have been toying with them.

He was creating opportunities, scoring goals and it was impossible to stop him. I remember him embarrassing Spurs defensive line with such fast-paced footwork it reminded me a lot of Messi.
