Mpache Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 A few of the channels I like with an example video. Geography Now Jim Baird Palabra de Gol Wendover Productions.
Mpache Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 @nudge you should check out Jim Baird who I posted above. Featured on Alone and treks in the Canadian Arctic Tundra surviving. Usually just with his dog. He's an unreal adventurer and survival expert.

Moderator Tommy Posted March 12, 2021 Moderator Posted March 12, 2021 Not a specific channel, more a specific kinds of video I found for myself. People just walking through cities. Like, last night I watched someone walking through Moscow for 40 minutes, and it amazed the shit out of me. I've never been there, but that video gave me such a great glimpse of the atmosphere of the city. The people, the architecture, the street life, the kind of clothes that people wear there, the traffic, the shops and restaurants, the public transport. It was like a vacation without physically going there. I hope that makes sense to anyone, and I'm not actually going insane.

Ohhhh I sometimes do something similar, but instead of walking, it's driving and listening to the radio https://driveandlisten.herokuapp.com/ And to make it even better, I use http://radio.garden/ for actual local radio stations. Send help.

Saw one on Mogadishu that was very intriguing.

Send help. That is amazing too. Saved to my bookmarks. But I prefer the walking a bit because there's more details to notice about the other pedestrians and the surroundings in general. I also like the different sounds. Like police sirens in Russia sound different than in other places etc. It's kinda educational too, and therapeutic. I'm gonna drink a few beers tonight and travel the world!

I find driving therapeutic, both in real and virtual worlds. Driving around in GTA with the radio on at night, especially when it's raining, is the most therapeutic thing ever

I used to play GTA San Andreas Online, on a roleplay server. Mostly I just drove around and watched other players doing their thing.

I didn't play GTA a lot but that is definitely one of the things I would do when I couldn't be arsed to do any more missions
