SirBalon
I found this list through Google (I cheated because it's not something I've looked into)... The only one I knew from childhood was David Soul from the 70s American cop series Starsky & Hutch and the only reason I always remember that one is because I found it weird as a kid. Some on the list I find ridiculous and I question whether they're real Arsenal fans. Mo Farah (Athlete) Queen Elizabeth II Osama Bin Laden (Asked to be assassinated after seeing Wenger wouldn't leave) Prince Harry Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) Dido (Singer) Spike Lee (Not our Spike, but the American film director) Jay Z (Singer, I think) Piers Morgan (I have no idea what he's good at) David Soul (American actor "Starsky & Hutch") Jeremy Corbyn (English politician) Fidel Castro (Cuban dictator) John Lydon (Sex Pistols) Roger Taylor (Queen, drummer) Lisa L'Anson (Radio 1 DJ) Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet) Martin Kemp (Spandau Ballet) John Keeble (Spandau Ballet) Something going on here... Andrew Ridgeley (The other member of WHAM) Ray Davies (The Kinks) Dave Davies (The Kinks) Angus Young (AC/DC) Neil Finn (Crowded House) Joan Collins (Actress) Colin Firth (Actor) Barbara Windsor (Actress) Koo Stark (60s and 70s super model) Ronnie O'Sullivan (Snooker player) Henry Cooper (English boxer) Ferenc Puskas (Hungarian footballer, amazing but true) Harry Redknapp (Yep... Not West Ham but Arsenal) Michael Watson (Boxer) Rod Laver (Tennis player) Greg Rusedski (Tennis player) Kelly Holmes (Athlete) Johnny Herbert (F1 Driver) Michael Portillo (English politician) Edward Heath (English politician) I'm bored now, but the list I was looking at was too long... Moderator Tommy Posted May 30, 2017 Moderator Share Posted May 30, 2017 For Fortuna Düsseldorf the most famous people are probably Die Toten Hosen who are one of the biggest bands in Germany. They even sponsored the club for some time when there were financial difficulties:

I attended many matches this season, and it's just kind of handy to be able to get to the stadium in 20 minutes. If I visit a Dortmund match, it costs me half a day. Thankfully that won't be happening any time soon I always hated people who "support" two teams. But I find the idea of supporting your local club very appealing. I don't really watch games because they are on just before I wake up to go to work (I really need the sleep) but I do follow them and check the scores whenever they play. Broich just left the club. I saw them at Lang Park before, and the overtime win against Central Coast is one of the best games, I've ever seen.

Cool I heard about Broich leaving so they could stay within the salary cap or whatever. The supporters were not amused.
Hugh Jass
For Preston I'm really struggling: - Mark Lawrenson (please someone take him off us) - Cecil Parkinson (a former Tory MP) - Steve Borthwick (a former rugby union player). I can't think of anyone else. Freddy Flintoff unfortunately has no taste and supports Man City instead of his hometown team. -

You should read about the founding of Brisbane Roar, it's one of the most convoluted of all time. So a team called Queensland Lions was invited into the A-League and became Brisbane Roar, but Queensland Lions didn't stop existing, so somehow one club became two but both clubs retain the 'history' of the original club. Fuck me, so it turns out Brisbane Roar was found simultaneously 60 years and and 12 years ago. I do miss living in Brisbane but I don't know if that is rose tinted glasses or not.
