...Dan Posted August 22, 2021 Author Posted August 22, 2021 Marseille refused to come back out, the referee blew the whistle to end the match because OM had no players on the pitch, so it will go down as a 3-0 win to Nice. Bizarre night.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 22, 2021 Subscriber Posted August 22, 2021 Hard earned win for Nice. Couldn't have done it without the fans!
Subscriber Dan+ Posted August 22, 2021 Subscriber Posted August 22, 2021 Well said that tweet. There'll not be a word from the blue ticks. EDIT: Bar himself
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted August 22, 2021 Subscriber Posted August 22, 2021 It is weird though isn't it. You get mad scenes from some of the French and Italian fans at club level but not too much that I'm aware of from their international fans whereas club football in England has relatively good behaviour for the most part but a lot worse from our international fans. Is it just a culture thing that the biggest dickheads gravitate towards club loyalties in some countries but the national team in others?
Rick Posted August 22, 2021 Posted August 22, 2021 That Marseille coach who floored the Nice fan will be at the job centre in the morning. Stupid fucker. Nice need to be given a very heavy fine and stadium ban.

Maybe the tribal roots of club rivalries in these countries are more intact than in England. I know for instance that the violence in Turkish football has much to do with the history/politics of Istanbul. Regarding English national team I think it's just hooliganism. We see the same scenes here on Independence days etc
Administrator Stan Posted August 24, 2021 Administrator Posted August 24, 2021 Authorities have ordered the 'Popular South' stand be closed at Nice for the next 4 home matches after what happened at the weekend against Marseille.
El Profesor Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Paquetá's control is beautiful. Dembélé slots home to put Lyon in advantage.
...Dan Posted September 10, 2021 Author Posted September 10, 2021 Ligue 1 and Liga NOS are swapping referees for a match this weekend. A Portuguese refereeing team will take charge of the Bordeaux Lens match and a French refereeing team will take charge of the Paços de Ferreira Braga match. Weird
...Dan Posted September 12, 2021 Author Posted September 12, 2021 Dolberg scores with his chest for the 2nd match in a row.
El Profesor Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Bruno is going to the top. Excited to see how he develops under Bosz. He's my favorite brazilian midfielder.

Rick Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Wow, how the fuck was that not checked by VAR? Neymar had his hands on the defenders neck ffs.
Rick Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 I hate how that was given. Rat behaviour rewarded by useless officials.
Machado Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Messi for a defender at 1-1. Messi didn't seem happy. Any clue on what he said to Poch?
Rick Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Fucking rats get a late winner. Disgusting gang of wankers + Gini. Fuck em
El Profesor Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Icardi makes it 2-1 PSG. Very unfair for Lyon. That penalty call was bizarre. It was Neymar who actually fouled Gusto (who looks like he's the real deal, btw. Only 18) Anyway, there is lot to be excited for Lyon fans. Their midfield is one of the best in the world, Paquetá, Bruno and Caqueret all had very good performances. Bosz is a good coach and they'll fight for the Europa League title this season.

Lyon were excellent. Says everything about how good that midfield is when you’re bringing Aouer off the bench. Poch will not last the season. You can’t sub off Messi at 1-1 with 20 left to play. He just made his job harder for himself, and his arse was saved by Icardi.

By the way, I think Paquetá is the perfect Klopp player. Dude is a machine both defending and attacking. I agree on Poch. I also think he won't survive the season. But to be fair, it's really tough to fit Neymar and Messi at this point of their careers. Neymar lost some of his pace, he can't really be a winger anymore. I'm not sure what Poch should do. That job is quite the trap, as Tuchel can attest.

And he’s very skilful on the ball, big fan.

He must of got that injury against Colombia? in the Copa America when that player almost broke Messi’s leg.
Administrator Stan Posted September 22, 2021 Administrator Posted September 22, 2021 PSG have left it to the final seconds again to win a game. This time against Metz with Hakimi scoring again.
