That’s a red card as well.

Would a red be given to Rice when he went over the ball on kroos earlier?

not saying that the end result of the game would have changed lol it probably wouldn’t

I dunno if it’s because we’ve just seen a half full Wembley but it really looks like there’s no one there. Have the Scots given up now they’re not allowed to boogie or are they still celebrating not losing to England?

Not sure of the actual figure allowed but under 10k were at the Scotland Vs Croatia match, so assuming that'll be about the limit for this match as well.

It's not intentional from the Sweden player but he planted his studs in the guy's knee and turned his leg inside out. Hard to really call that a harsh red.

But he's got the ball first fairly, where else is his leg meant to go? I'm not blaimg in the Ukraine player, but Danielson made the challenge, got the ball, and it's just a very, very unsightly and unfortunate collision.

Absolutely no malice in it at all.

Probably not given that it was Phillips :D

In the Premier League that’s probably a red, mind. But VAR is pretty dismal in the Premier League. This Euros, it seems to have been used well.

It's red. Winning the ball just before doesn't change that

One thing I will say about England, Southgate is managing this tournament so well.

These two teams look exhausted.

And they aren't the only two teams either. Yet England still look fresh.

It wouldn't surprise me if Southgate mixes up the attack for the next game, these two sides are poor.

Ukraine player should be sent off by the standards for what Danielson was sent off for?

Got the ball, then clattered in to the Swede and injured him?

121st minute. I haven't really tried to think back to other tournaments but surely that's the most mental last 16 there's been at a major tournament? England beating Germany little more than a footnote in comparison.
