Desperately needs playing time. Would he even start? Don't you have Hazard and Reyna?

He'd get more playing time here than with you I'd say.  We don't have a traditional winger in the squad.  Hazard plays out wide yes, but Reyna tends to play more like a 10.

Don't forget our ability to make young players better so that can go on to achieve success somewhere else 🙄

Reports in Germany say that Tuchel is blocking the transfer. Probably just a "fuck you" to Hans-Joachim Watzke for old times sake. xD

Supposedly they want a replacement player in before they'll allow him to leave.  Hilarious considering he'll rarely play this season.

Be such a waste of a talent for a year if he doesn’t go out on loan. Chelsea have such good squad depth.

5th choice Winger.

3rd choice RWB.

He needs to leave and get regular player time. His wages will prevent anything being permanent.

If Hudson-Odoi has hopes of getting back in the mix with Sancho, Grealish, Saka, Sterling, Rashford, Foden, Greenwood, etc, etc... he needs to be playing somewhere.

For all the flap there is about getting good players to Champions League & trophy winning sides, there should be just as much that players ready & waiting to get a chance should go wherever that chance is.

He needs to be where he will get the most playing time... That's something only he can decide after having those various conversations with all parties involved... Wages will be another matter, If he looks at Tammy Abraham he may realise that there is life and hope beyond the doors of CFC

Hudson-Odoi should leave, no point wasting time, you don't want him to end up lingering around like Loftus-Cheek. Push for a loan move or even a permanent one Callum, you need football. The likes of Pulsiic and Ziyech can under perform all they want in front of you but no matter how they do, you won't be above them in the pecking order. Your season most likely will be made up of the odd appearance here and there at full back. You deserve more game time but won't get it, get out there somewhere else and prove yourself.

I'm not saying start him against Liverpool away today far from it, just that he should be getting more game time in general, particularly considering some of the performances of the players in front of him. He needs to be playing left wing as well, he can do a job at right wing back but for his development he needs to be playing in his best position more as well. Cruising against Palace at home and he was never brought on, perfect time to give some minutes, he's never used in those situations which I find baffling, if anything, only seems to be used when we're chasing games. Bottom line is that Tuchel doesn't trust or rate him, the same with Lampard. I'm not saying he's going to tear it up and become a world beater in a couple of years, he might end up like Loftus-Cheek and not fulfill his potential but given Hudson-Odoi's performances, profile, potential, and the current context he should be used more. I read something recently that hit home and that's the fact that the annoying thing is that if he does come in and doesn't perform, he's normally the first to get pulled, always seems to happen with the younger players, whereas more experienced players can get away with the lackluster performances and mediocrity and aren't treated the same.
