I'm not going to go up to a girl in a pub and ask her out so they are necessary for me A long time ago back in the dark ages of dating when I was young carefree and reckless, we used to have this game we played when we were out anywhere really busy, I would take one side of the road and my mate would take the other and we just used to walk up to girls we liked the look of and ask them out and try and get some phone numbers.. didn't matter if most of them said no ( or ran away screaming in my mates case ) because those that fell for our charm and humour would all be girls we picked... good fun back then.. A couple in South Korea accidently damaged some art ( we will call it art for the sake of argument ) when they thought the paint and brushes that were near the display were left so you could have a go yourself... Apparently this mess is supposed to be worth $500,000 I will pay £50 for anyone that can point out where on the painting they ruined it.. It's quite pleasant to look at even if it is just abstract colours on canvas. Everyone always says they can do it or their child can but they never do. I'd rather look at that then some of the classic realist art of antiquity. Here is a piece with supreme technique and photo realism but it's quite boring to look at, as art approaches realism it's loses it's other wordly quality.
