We have this race which is the final race of the triple header. A 2-week break followed by the final 2 races back to back.

The next 2 races, we enter the unknown. Track time will be important. Anybody know much about the Qatar and Saudi circuits? Has there been any form of racing on them?

MotoGP races in Qatar. Should have good grip and high tyre degradation.

Budget Bahrain.

It looks like a weird Bahrain/Hungaroring hybrid.

Shocked to learn that it already exists since 2004. I thought they built it just for F1.

Looks like good pace for Verstappen to start the weekend. Always hard to read into First Practice but with a gap of half a second to Bottas you won't be complaining. Still, you can see from the fact that Gasly is in 2nd that Mercedes have pace to find.

Someone random mentioned that Hamilton is using his old PU from Turkey today and will be using the one from Brazil tomorrow and during the race. Does anyone know if that's true?

is that even allowed?

I think you can for p1 and p2. But for p3 and qualy it has to be the same for the remainder of the weekend. Unless you need to replace the engine or engine components.
