But that was more to do with the huge lead @The Liquidator accumulated over the past few months. @Dr. Gonzo's gamble of guessing 1-0 and 1-1s only paid off for one game, but gaining 11 points meant the 200-point mark was surpassed. SEASON SUMMARY It was pretty much nailed on for a very long time that @The Liquidator would end up as the winner and he did just that, winning by some distance to 2nd place - 35 points. A great achievement, congratulations ! He now adds his name to the list of previous winners in @Bluewolf and @Pyfish! @The Liquidator led for pretty much the whole season - once he gained the lead in Week 9, he stayed there til the end of the season. Previous leaders were @Viva la FCB (Week 1), @nawoo (Week 2), @Reluctant Striker (Week 3-5) and @DeadLinesman (Week 6-8). As for the WPL Cup, it was more glory for @Pyfish, making it two in a row as he beat @Viva la FCB 10-8 in the Final. Congratulations once again! Says alot about a person sticking in till the end. Well done guys My thanks to @Stan for the expert running of his competition's. You are the magnet that that keeps this little board an attraction.
