This is the type of solidarity and empathy that we all need to be showing during these times. Hats off to the Gladbach players, they are leading by example. Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted April 30, 2020 Subscriber Share Posted April 30, 2020 Saw this the other day, pretty neat idea I reckon. That’s right: supporters of Borussia Mönchengladbach, the German club that currently sits in fourth in the Bundesliga standings, have developed a novel oddball concept — one worth replicating around the world if coronavirus-era sporting events take place in empty stadiums and arenas in the coming weeks and months. For 19 euros, or some $20.60, fans of Borussia Mönchengladbach can purchase a cardboard cutout of their likeness, to be planted in the Borussia-Park home stadium seats during games. Subscriber nudge+ Posted July 21, 2020 Subscriber Share Posted July 21, 2020 Great news! Hopefully he's fully recovered now after that horrific injury and will have a successful season with Gladbach and his old coach. Very exciting player to watch... Yeah, Wolf is an impressive midfield player who will no doubt improve Gladbach. Great signing by the Foals!

Another great signing for them, Eberl is doing a fantastic job. According to Bild, the initial loan fee will cost Gladbach €1.2 million, plus an extra €13.8 million at the end of the season if they decide to buy him permanently. If that's indeed true, then that sounds like a real bargain for Gladbach. It's a great piece of business done by them bringing in a quality player like Lazaro for those low fees. Subscriber nudge+ Posted August 24, 2021 Subscriber Share Posted August 24, 2021 Gladbach with even more woes - do add to previously confirmed injuries, today they announced that Thuram has inner ligament tear and is out for weeks, and Ginter has tested positive for covid (despite being double jabbed). The only good news is that Plea's injury is not serious and he's training with the team.
Moderator Tommy Posted August 24, 2021 Moderator Share Posted August 24, 2021 Fucking hell. Looks like Gladbach already used all of their bad luck at the beginning of the season. What a disastrous start. At least Thuram won't go to Inter now, I reckon.

Subscriber Coma+ Posted January 20, 2022 Subscriber Share Posted January 20, 2022 I have a feeling that this team is going to be dismantled at the end of the season. Too much talent to be performing this badly. Ginter and Zakaria are already gone. Neuhaus likely to be sold. Rumors of Plea and Thuram moving on as well. Moderator Tommy Posted January 27, 2022 Moderator Share Posted January 27, 2022 Apparently Niko Kovac could step in if Adi Hütter doesn't manage to turn it around.
Rucksackfranzose
Can see Hütter to be the next manager being sacked after today's trashing. Will be interesting whether Transfermarkt are correct with their Kovac suggestion.
