Commentators are so far up Nunez' arse. They can't wait for him to score.

@Stan I don't know the last time you scored 3 goals at Anfield

Ref blows on 94 mins even though Henderson was down for about a minute?

Odd.

Anyway, quite gutting to lose that in that fashion, after being in control I thought until the first OG. Second half was mostly Liverpool, but to lose after having a good working game plan and 2 Faes freak own goals is really frustrating.

Considering I was expecting an absolute drubbing, I'm not too despondent about the loss. We didn't go down without effort, and actually looked at times we could get something out of the game. We were just very wasteful going forward.

That was a poor performance. Awful midfield performance, and a very wasteful attack. Got away with it because Faes is a pleb.

If we had a better attack today it's a different result. You were sloppy at the back I thought and we had numerous chances to create clear opportunities.

Don't think it was poor at all. Played well in parts and created a number of good chances. Obviously need to start taking them.

Not missed the LFC doom brigade on here xD

Not everything has to be black and white. First half was poor but the second was a lot better.

Firs half was terrible. These lot just got spanked by Newcastle, and yet they started the game and continued until the break as the better side.

Second half, yes, more possession but the issues of them walking through that midfield persisted and it was only a good performance from Trent that stopped Barnes mincing Matip. Add to that the completely wastefulness from Nunez & Salah in from of goal (credit given for getting into the positions, but they are chances that needed finished) and we are lucky to get out that game with the points.

I can't tell if we were OK relative to low expectations or if we were OK but I've left it thinking we could've got something.

Cannot believe that from Faes though. He's been good for us but that is beyond hideous.

Once again I think we're just soft - we're the only side in this league who would tolerate that refereeing as meekly as that. I'm convinced it costs us points.

2022 league form really crap - didn't beat a single top half side. Really, really poor and undoubted decline.

No way Faes couldn't have stopped himself or gotten out of the way after it came off the post.

Honestly it's fucking awful. Watched it back and it's even worse than I remember it. How is a professional footballer pulling that off?

The first is bad but it's quite unlucky. The second is fucking mental.

Most obvious match fixing since the Grobelaar days.

Ivan Toney is loving life this morning though
