Case dropped due to contradicting statements by the woman in question.

The case wasn´t dropped. What happened is that the girl´s lawyer left the case and now she is being represented by a different lawyer. But the case is still ongoing.

Lots of twists and developments today. Firstly, the girl was interviewed and once again said she was raped by Neymar.

Also, a print of a video that she recorded of both was leaked, Neymar´s dad confirmed it´s his son´s legs.

The most shocking news came later, when Rede Globo announced the dismissal of Mauro Naves, one of the most famous and respected sports journalist in Brazil. According to Globo, Mauro Naves leaked Neymar´s dad phone number to the girl´s lawyer in exchange for exclusive informations regarding the case. If I had to guess, CBF and/or Neymar Pai pressed Globo to fire Mauro Naves.

Now, the video I´ve mentioned before has been released. Actually, she hits him and says: "Sabe por quê? Porque ontem você me agrediu e me deixou aqui sozinha" (You know why I´m hitting you? Because you hit me yesterday and left me here alone".)

Seems like a psycho woman.

Neymar on free-fall, where does it end?

Only three summers ago Neymar Jr was riding the highest waves of football on a podium shared with Lionel Messi ans Cristiano Ronaldo. The predictions were when and not if he would finally take over the two monsters that had dominated every sector of the football media for so long. Neymar's levels were progressively growing and more and more protagonism was being snatched from the other two on tv, newspapers, magazines and even marketing publicity.

A unique commanding performance in the greatest club football comeback in history where FC Barcelona came back from a 0-4 deficit suffered in Paris against PSG to win in an epic battle you could make a movie out of by 6-1 in the Camp Nou... You couldn't write it, but Neymar did what is expected from only the elite, only the greatest, he took the bull by the horns and guided a team that contained Messi himself, Xavi, Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Busquets and Co to victory.

Three years later and his market quota amongst the elite footballers has taken a nosedive (experts say he won't even make the top 50 in the next edition of the Ballon d'Or). That very summer he decided the best decision for his career was to move from La Liga to Ligue1 and Paris Saint-Germain with the backstory surrounding the move being a mighty project based around his trademark name... All that in one of the most popular cities on the planet, Paris. The arguments used at the time by those backing such a move was that he would be eternally suffocated by playing alongside Lionel Messi and that Barça while Leo was there would subject him to a second fiddle role. No matter what the arguments to the contrary put on the table, Neymar was ready and Barça was holding the footballer back from his rightful claim to the throne.

Since then a disastrous World Cup where he is accused of play-acting all the way through hits his status hard. PSG's eternal failure to act in the Champions League and provide tangible substance to their perverse financial investments to capture club football's biggest prize (the Champions League) are like nails being driven through a bespoke coffin.

Fraud cases brought against him and now a hammer blow for any status symbol, a rape accusation coupled with an injury which sees him miss the upcoming Copa América. His market value has dropped by over €100m according to CIES the leading sports marketing observatory.  Mastercard who is one of his personal sponsors have already begun moves to end their partnership with sports giant Nike and his multimillion sponsorship deal in total chaos also his contract with Italian casualwear giant Replay Jeans has already been ended once his remaining 12 months conclude.

According to leading French sports journal L'Equipe his fall from grace is backed up with facts and accuse him of being a one track bully against much poorer sides on the domestic scene. They back it up by selecting high profile games where he's either gone missing on the field of play or simply being absent with a whopping statistic that shows he has only played  51.8% of the games eligible for him to play since his move to PSG (Messi has played 87% and Cristiano Ronaldo 77% since that date) which is extremely poor.

Many blame his father, and some high profile people in his entourage for his fatal move three years back, but ultimately it is known that Neymar Jr himself forced the hand that rocked the cradle on his career when there were important football people telling him he was taking a tremendous risk.

What next for Neymar?

There are rumours of a return to FC Barcelona but even though there are high ranking people at the club that believe they could revive his status and career with a return, there are also those that oppose such a move within the department that guards the FCB trademark and also a massive majority well over 90% of the club members (the owners of the club) consistently making it understood that they wouldn't favour a Part II with Neymar. Real Madrid are rumoured to have cooled on the appeal there once was with Florentino Pérez now seeing him as damaged goods and the club from Madrid see Kylian Mbappé as the next best thing in terms of productivity and marketability potential.

Could someone in the Premier League take the very expensive and massive step to ignore the risks? Only two Premier League clubs could potentially afford the whole deal that would surround taking on the Neymar project which isn't just a transfer fee... those clubs both reside in Manchester with United and City. Aside from this there is very little room for manoeuvre for the free-falling star according to experts.

His personal life has been a mess but football wise, I dont think it would be any different (last season) being coached by such a negative and predictable cunt Valverde? I think he would be in worst shape like arthur who has taken a step back.

How has Arthur taken a step back? He was one of the positives last season and other than Messi, Ter Stegen, Alba and Pique, he was arguably the most consistent performer in the side.

If I was a manager, I'd rather keep Dembele and hope he can finally overcome these niggling injuries he keeps sustaining.

Let's note that it can be quite common for players to suffer a lot of injuries in their younger days, before shaking them off as they develop as a player and get older. This was even the case with Messi in his younger days, who was massively injury prone and Steven Gerrard was another as well. Yet look how great their careers ended up panning out.

The talent is there and there is no reason why Dembele can't reach a similar level to what Neymar did at the club if he can stay injury free. The talent is certainly there and he was demonstrating this last season when he had a period where he stayed fit, look at some of the goals he scored, some of the moves...what he brings is just what the team are lacking.

It's just another sloppy dig because something bad/negative happened to a Barca player.

B for effort. F for execution. Must try harder.

Don't get me wrong, talent wise, Neymar at his best would benefit Barcelona greatly and the team would have probably gotten through both Liverpool and Roma as he would have scored atleast a goal over both ties, he's that type of player, he can chip in and make a difference. But I'm not sure he would come back the same player, he has also burnt a lot of bridges and it seems as though the club would be being a mug by allowing him back.

As for Griezmann, I'm not sure he is the type of player what is needed right now, but if he is to join the club, then he should be welcomed like any new player. He's a bit of a twat himself, but not the type of personality who is a hindrance to a team.

Arthur was okay for Barcelona but you are probably one of them that never watched him played prior to Barcelona, he has more to give and he knows it that's why he pretty much admitted that he feels more comfortable with Brazil than under that puppet Valverde.

Arthur made a comment while on international duty stating that at Barcelona under Valverde he felt restricted and shackled for freedom. I get this and he probably has a point but also European football isn't as anarchic as what's out there in other continents.

Where did this Neymar/sister-shagger thing originate from?

Such a weird accusation/allegation/thing...

Over the years, he's done some pretty provocative stuff with his sister on social media. It's a very "close" relationship between the two.

nintchdbpict000363997603.jpg?w=620

This is just one example. His sister on occasion posts some half naked photos, and Neymar comments with a wink face or a heart emoji. They've got matching tattoos of one another, and this is apparently the 4th season in a row where Neymar got 'injured' during a period where it was his sisters birthday.

Alas, the jokes arrived.

Yeah, it's not just come from nothing. The jokes are very justified.

That picture is fucking sick.

His face...:farmer:

It's like looking at a picture of the Lannister's.

According to L’Équipe Paris Saint-Germain won’t block any approach to sign Neymar if the price is right. The rumours backed by statements Naseer Al-Kheleif has made in the past hours backs the rumour. Apparently they’re sick and tired of him and the bad press he has brought the club with very little productivity on the project they’re searching to execute.
