Moderator Tommy Posted December 3, 2023 Moderator Posted December 3, 2023 Tottenham gave Doku too much time and space there. Lovely attack no doubt, but it could have been defended better.
Administrator Stan Posted December 3, 2023 Author Administrator Posted December 3, 2023 Man City will just wear Spurs down now. Unless Spurs get the next goal I can only see this being perhaps 4-1 or 5-1 in the end.
OrangeKhrush Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Spurs can be exciting but the style is also rather naive and reckless, good on ange not changing his game though. All things are pointing to a potential hiding.

Administrator Stan Posted December 3, 2023 Author Administrator Posted December 3, 2023 Man City gone very flat now. Spurs still in the game with it only being 2-1.
Administrator Stan Posted December 3, 2023 Author Administrator Posted December 3, 2023 2-2! Lo Celso from just outside the box. Man City have been so sloppy and casual last 10 mins. Spurs deserve that for sticking at their game plan.

Administrator Stan Posted December 3, 2023 Author Administrator Posted December 3, 2023 Man City back in the lead. Grealish set up by Haaland. Spurs messing about again.
Administrator Stan Posted December 3, 2023 Author Administrator Posted December 3, 2023 Criminal from Bissouma there. Ran back into danger needlessly.
Administrator Stan Posted December 3, 2023 Author Administrator Posted December 3, 2023 Kulusevski!! Spurs equalise!
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 3, 2023 Subscriber Posted December 3, 2023 Hard to tell if City are genuinely a bit complacent this season or whether they're just keeping in touch and waiting to activate the 16 game winning streak to close out the season when De Bruyne comes back from injury .
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted December 3, 2023 Subscriber Posted December 3, 2023 The ref fucked up there blowing for the free kick when Grealish was in but you can tell City rarely have decisions go against them by the petulant reaction. Haaland fishing for a ban here after the whistle.
Inverted Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 The Man City players refused to play an advantage not long before in the 2nd half, so it's slightly hypocritical to then complain about the ref giving them a free kick at another point.
Danny Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Good result for Spurs and for Ange. A lot of nonsense since their injuries about his playing style and being too attacking, classic media narrative with little substance behind it.
MUFC Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Haaland go and play with your dolls you moaning fucking tranny.

MUFC Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 How has the Spurs manager got his side playing like this so quickly while we look more clueless each week.
Administrator Stan Posted December 3, 2023 Author Administrator Posted December 3, 2023 Gonna be that guy and say that I thought the ref had a good game overall. Can't recall any controversies or bad decisions throughout the whole game. Then he went and fucked up with that mess of a decision at the end. Shame that'll be the talking point from today despite it being quite a good game. Spurs never gave up at all. Postecoglou and the fans must be loving that result given the amount of injuries. The only thing I can think of as to why Hooper blew his whistle, is that when he played advantage and then blew his whistle the linesman then could have said Grealish was potential offside on their comms. But because they're told to wait to put their flag up, the ref wanted to avoid any further play and bring the ball back for a Man City free kick for the foul. But in the end all he's done is create more.

Danny Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 The one thing you can always count on is for Sky to make a meal out of small issues. City have played most of the season without Grealish, De Bruyne and Stones. Of course they are not going to look like the team they were from January on last season. I imagine once all three are back and playing regularly they step up a gear and blow the competition out of the water. Tottenham have played well today and against Villa also with a massively depleted squad with various fringe players playing out of position. They are not really being exposed badly by anyone, they are not really playing in a way that is unsustainable, they are just playing in a way that is distinctive and that has secured them a lot of points this season. When they get their players back they will go back to playing very well and picking up lots of points to go along with it.
