Keep it tight and we might get a result. Concede the first goal and Wolves will go on to win by 3 or 4 in front of a Goodison Park which will be three-quarters empty with 20 minutes left.

I accepted at the weekend we're going down. To serve that up at the weekend after publicly letting that "Enzo I miss U" video out sums up what most of this lot are really made of.

These are terrible and in disarray themselves so we might get away without a loss.

This is a massive game for both sides really. For Palace the only two winnable fixtures in November and December are the Ipswich and Southampton games. Whilst for Ipswich they'll need as many points in the next four fixtures before they go on a run of horrible fixtures.

We need to play with an intensity we haven't done away from home yet, but hopefully the performance and let goal against Newcastle is the catalyst for an improvement.

This game highlights more than anything that there are no easy games at this level anymore.

Have to cross my fingers for Palace and West Ham tonight. Not that it makes a difference but my mindset now is that we're in a spiral (again) and it's just going to be a case of whether we can hang on above Leicester and Ipswich. The way I see it now, if we're worrying about Southampton we're as good as relegated and if we're worried about Palace or Wolves then we must be safe because I just can't see either of those sides finishing below any of the newly-promoted ones after 38 games.

It would be nice to keep Wolves and Palace below us for a bit longer just for the sake of our sanity but it isn't the end-game.

Think we'll start well and perhaps go ahead, but then get unpicked and unlocked as their attacking players are better than our defenders. Unless RVN had found some kind of miracle tactic to get our defence functioning we'll be looking at trying to score at least 2 goals to win the game.

Vardy scores 2 mins into RVN's tenure. Clinical. Offside given but overturned correctly on VAR.

Astonishing this West Ham manager is still in a job to be honest. Moyes is a better manager than his reputation but he's no world beater and he had these performing pretty consistently as a top half team. They look clueless this season.

What I feared from this one really. New manager bounce 101 is get an early goal and give yourself something to defend with all your new, fresh enthusiasm and that's what Leicester have gone and done.

When did Ings get so shit?

Think West Ham can go on and win this if they score next but Leicester look a decent threat on the break.

We're winning but not sure how. West Ham have been very attacking and we've not been able to cut out their supply. Kudus is their danger man, let alone Bowen on the right.

Hermansen doing well.

We just need to be a bit sharper and calmer on the ball. Still feels quite uneasy when they're on the ball. Like we're a mistake away from capitulating.

2-0 Leicester. That's that then.

Lose tomorrow and we drop into the relegation zone ahead of playing Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City. Well done everyone.

Are there any "West Ham way" jokes left from all the other times they've tried and failed to "upgrade to an ambitious manager"?

I wish we were playing them tomorrow night to he honest. Could have done without that for Leicester.

That was not comfortable but it was very welcome.

Rode our luck with West Ham's wastefulness but we actually attacked their goal as opposed to just taking it at our end all game.

Promising signs already under RVN despite the squad he's working with. Already signs that players will do a lot for him and run themselves into the ground. The difference in confidence is remarkable. Even getting players like Soumare playing well is impressive xD

Will take the 3 points and it's the perfect start for Ruud.

You can't agree with var against your own team on here. Even if it's right it's a bannable offence

Huge win. We rode our luck for a lot of it but I'm not expecting miracles after just two days at the club, so I'm glad we seem to at least have some sort of gameplan. It was very simple stuff. Compact the middle and hit them on the break. Better sides will punish that but it doesn't matter. I'm not expecting the finished article already. That was just about a win and we got it, in the end, strangely comfortably.

I'm not expecting a haul from Brighton or Newcastle but you never know. There's a hell of a lot of room for improvement but that was an allround confidence booster.

6th manager in 7 that Vardy has scored the first goal for. Maresca the only exception.

El Khannouss and Hermansen both really impressive. The former I'm glad for, taken him a little while but he's starting to get to grips and I think he'll be a beneficiary of RVN's management. Hermansen is top drawer, if we stay up I'm pretty sure he'll be the main reason.

Good work. Had my expectations absolutely blown after the weekend but that was more like it.

There are no lengths this guy won't go to to defend a Spanish manager. xD

Every single person who told Everton fans Rafa Benitez would be good with us actually admitted they were wrong but this guy just kept on making excuses for him to the bitter end. Looks like he intends to do the same for Lopetegui because he's presumably advocated for him at some point, so he'd rather write an essay about why he's still right and everyone else is wrong than just admit the guy's not done well enough.
