LFCMike Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 I know the Rondon links aren't worth discussing given the source but I think one thing that is worth discussing from our point of view is the lack of options after Firmino. Particularly if Sturridge goes. I know Sturridge is pretty much finished here but when the other two options are Solanke and Ings it doesn't fill you with confidence.

Agree in principle but don’t forget both Mane and Salah can play central if needed 👍

Administrator Stan Posted January 27, 2018 Administrator Posted January 27, 2018 Rondon wouldn't have been able to finish like Firmino just did.

Storts Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Firmino wouldn't even get in any of the other top six sides, Rondon would start up front for at least three of them right now

Hit double figures in both seasons for us. Seems strange to send him on loan given our options
LFCMadLad Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 It’s funny how whilst being shite for West Brom, Rondon is now the second coming of Messi after being linked with Liverpool
Danny Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Rondon???? You are joking. He scored 8 goals last season and he's a centre forward. Some serious wumming in here and not from Storts 😂
UNORTHODOX Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Buying Rondon would be just as pointless as Spurs buying Llorente, We still have Sturridge at the club and Origi on loan we don't really need a striker until the summer maybe.
Guest Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 11 hours ago, Cannabis said: Rondon's a fucking tank too, absolutely insane physique. This is one point I forgot to mention. This makes him a reliable target man/deep lying forward. Would you take him at Everton mate?
Administrator Stan Posted January 28, 2018 Administrator Posted January 28, 2018 he's an Allardyce-esque player. Doubt West Brom would sell him tbh.
Dr. Gonzo Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 4 hours ago, Cannabis said: I would, he's very underrated and just needs a chance at a more ambitious club than West Brom. I doubt he'd love playing for a side that somehow managed 0 shots on target in 3 matches. Not sure a club can claim ambition with Fat Sam
Smiley Culture Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Saw Rondon the other week v Brighton and he's got to be one of the most frustrating players at West Brom. In the space of two incidents, he can go from looking like a very good player to a bloke who's lost at Premier League level. He's so erratic and for teams like Liverpool, you can't afford inconsistency to that level.

Administrator Stan Posted January 28, 2018 Administrator Posted January 28, 2018 he's a caring player though, gotta say
Dave Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 Troy Deeney linked with West Brom. Making way for Rondon to join Liverpool?
