SirBalon Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 I’ll say something... It’s sometimes unlikely players that are selected for World Cups or European Championships that make that difference and are just right. That man in my opinion is Aspas.
Administrator Stan Posted March 27, 2018 Author Administrator Posted March 27, 2018 4-1! Thiago Alcantara.

Fits the system better than Morata or Costa
Carnivore Chris Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Just now, Cicero said: Fits the system better than Morata or Costa Rodrigo might well suit them better than those 2 as well. It's strange how things can work out.
SirBalon Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Saúl isn’t Iniesta obviously, but not bad to bring on.
Administrator Stan Posted March 27, 2018 Author Administrator Posted March 27, 2018 Route one Spain! De Gea sets up Aspas. 1 ball leads to another goal.
Administrator Stan Posted March 27, 2018 Author Administrator Posted March 27, 2018 Isco hat-trick! 6-1. Argentina have fucked up majorly here.
Carnivore Chris Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Aspas is enjoying himself since coming on. 5-1. Now he sets one up for Isco to make it 6.
Cicero Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Rojo is responsible for at least 4 of Spain's goals. Isco hattrick

Cicero Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Granted it's only a friendly, but Sampaoli picked the wrong game to trial things with certain players. Spain picked them apart.

I would say so and to be honest it’s been something the Spanish press have speculated on for a while although they’ve also said politics could come into this. Lopetegui would have to be strong and his own man like Aragonés once was and never called Raúl again...
Administrator Stan Posted March 27, 2018 Author Administrator Posted March 27, 2018 getting ridiculous now and I don't mean in scoreline. So many needless and petty fouls being made. Amazed Meza didn't get sent off yet. Ramos had to get involved as well.
SirBalon Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Some of the Argentina players lost their cool at the end there. Anyway... Great result and a message even if it is a friendly because it's not just this game over the past year.
Berserker Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 This is very shameful, through history we've mostly bossed Spain so this is like being thrown a bucket of cold water. They obviously played way better but we also have been very unfortunate, 3rd goal came from a foul we weren't given, 1st and 4th there were deflections. And also we have been denied two pens (although Spain also had a valid goal ruled off). Also our XI was very unbalanced, three number 5s just wasn't gonna work.

Damn, almost. haha The only good thing out of that match is the fact that Sampaoli will probably be forced to take Dybala.
