Dr. Gonzo Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Went to Palm Springs for the weekend. Probably not the best idea in the world to go there in July tbh. 1 Quote
Subscriber Popular Post Viva la FCB+ Posted July 20, 2022 Subscriber Popular Post Posted July 20, 2022 Mexico was hot literally and figuratively. Never been there in the summer before but man was it a great place to recharge and relax. We've been to the resort once before just before COVID and it's some of the best beaches in the Mayan Riviera plus it's a massive compound (6 hotels on it). Ventured a bit, did a fishing trip and went to Chichen Itza (hadn't been there in about 12 years), went to a few different cenote's and snorkeled a bunch. Ive got a tonne to sort through but here's some for pics for now! 4 3 Quote

But to be honest I'm not sure what the future holds on that one now and it'll probably be my last time there for a while. I've got a few more things to do, such as el Caminito del rey, visiting some little towns in the middle of nowhere and then a trip back to Barcelona(Camp Nou for a game, Tarragona, Gerona and few other spots) is on the books after the World Cup, then probably Canada when more flights, etc start becoming available. That flight will kill me though. I can barely handle a few hours. Have you not got anything planned? 1 Quote

My logic maybe flawed I just dont have alot of interest going there mostly because I just love the Caribbean side too much; the water and beaches are just gorgeous. Ive been to the Mayan Riviera area I think 3 times and the California Baha peninsula once (Vallejo) Quote
Spike Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 For me, it is stepping one foot outside the designated gringo zone and getting kidnapped. Also applies to Mexiamericans. 1 Quote
