Kowabunga Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 The color commentator in the Nigeria-Croatia fixture have just told the "Fabril" (the "b" side of Deportivo de la Coruña) has two players in the world cup (Francis Uzoho and Ismael Díaz). Cool.
The Artful Dodger Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Nigeria been steady so far, Croatia not done much.
Honey Honey Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 This game is going to be a hard watch. So far Croatia don't look like the team Bilic was wanking over in the studio on Thursday
Bluewolf Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 The whole 290 odd million stadium is built on a swamp and is sinking??? Kin hell Brings a whole new meaning to money down the bog that does...

Administrator Stan Posted June 16, 2018 Author Administrator Posted June 16, 2018 Half an hour of nothing in this game so far.

Bluewolf Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Instantly regrets posting in the wrong thread about regretting comments made earlier on....
The Artful Dodger Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Croatia bit like Argentina, very obviously trying to play through one man.
El Profesor Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Growing up in the 90s I got used to a Nigeria side that played beautiful football. Finidi, Kanu, Okocha... Since then, part of me always expect that kind of football from Nigeria and I´m always disappointed.

I don't think Nigeria have been abysmal, in fact in this half they've had more of the play. Maybe to be expected but Croatia have been very disappointing.
The Artful Dodger Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Nice penalty, needlessly given away. Gonna be a shite ending now.
Inverted Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Moses is such a weird winger. Not quite defensively good enough that you would want him stuck around your own box too long; not creative enough to be much use around the opposition box. Credit to Conte for managing to find a role that got a good season out of him.

Honey Honey Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Bilic might actually give Glenn Hoddle a run for his money in the most bias pundit going
ScoRoss Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Roy Keane must have been watching a different Argentina team...

Administrator Stan Posted June 16, 2018 Author Administrator Posted June 16, 2018 Disappointed with Nigeria. Expected more of them even when they were losing, to at least chase the game or provide some threat to Croatia. Then you go and give the most stupid penalty away right in front of the ref. On a par with what Umtiti did as well in the other group earlier today.
Devil-Dick Willie Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Messi had a good first half imo. But fuck me he bottles big penalty moments. Give them to Aguero or Higuain. After the pen he was useless, trying to do too much to attone.
Bluewolf Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 I am reading this morning that Messi is 'Angry' with Icelands tactics against them after claiming they did nothing but defend and attack with long throw ins.. Funny that, apart from some throw in's they also scored a goal and saved a penalty... A couple of major contributing factors to the end result I thought...
