They’ll both speculate and for me the answer will be in who specualtes best. On paper the game will be very tactical with wary football. The thing is that both teams have plenty of talent at their disposal to provide an amazing game for the neutral. You know there are some things for which even Shakespear would slap you
Kowabunga Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 I think Uruguay is a way more balanced team. I expect the uruguayans to go through, although I side with Portugal.
bozziovai Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 one football great ( messi ) is out ...................... for fack's sake, don't let this portugal team go home this early.
Administrator Stan Posted June 30, 2018 Author Administrator Posted June 30, 2018 Pereira and Silva start Happy days. Even more reason for Portugal to win.
Machado Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Finally Cedric benched! Being useless for three games was too much.
Cicero Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 That was a nice little segment on Ronaldo. Heart of gold off the pitch.

I find it hard to compare these 2 teams as they are just about even in every aspect. Uruguay have better center backs but Portugal has better full backs. Uruguay has a better duo in striker but Portugal have Ronaldo. The only ones that are clearly far above and below each other are the keeper and midfield position. I think Uruguay's midfield is much better and Rui Patricio is better than Muslera.
The Artful Dodger Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Can see there being a decent scrap in this one, this world cup is missing a good violent conduct dismissal.
Administrator Stan Posted June 30, 2018 Author Administrator Posted June 30, 2018 I'd say even Patricio and Muslera are fairly similar.

Suarez vs Pepe I would not mind a Netherlands vs Portugal 2006 reenactment.
Azeem Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 We could see Messi and Ronaldo both ending their international career within a difference of few hours.
Azeem Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 This match will be all about Ronaldo and Suarez vs Center backs. Who will get the right service to their strikers and as Blue said Uruguay have the edge in center backs.

I used to like Muslera a lot but to me he's never really reached his potential. In the past few years I've always seen him as the 3rd weak link in this Uruguay team along with the full backs (and whenever the hell Cebolla Rodriguez plays)
Azeem Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 I wonder what they sing in national anthems. Our country is greatest country in the world and everyyyonnne envies to live in it.
Administrator Stan Posted June 30, 2018 Author Administrator Posted June 30, 2018 Cavani to Suarez to Cavani. What a cross. What a goal.
Guest Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 That was the same goal Cavani scored against England in 2014, but from further distance.
Carnivore Chris Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 That was brilliant by Suárez and Cavani, who scored with his nose!
Guest Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 Just now, Blue said: That was the same goal Cavani scored against England in 2014, but from further distance. Was It Cavani? I thought Suarez got both.
The Artful Dodger Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 He may be a racist but Suarez is some player.
