Lucas 3,635
If we want to compete for promotion, we have to put away the so called 'poorer' teams. We've got to be beating Hull if this is our aim. Dropping points to Birmingham was bad enough. To drop two more at a woeful Wednesday side was disastrous, despite playing really well. We're simply not converting enough of the chances we create. And that is the most important stat. Definitely feel not having Roofe, Bamford or Hernandez is proving this, as they are by far our best finishers. Nothing other than three points will do against a Hull side will do. I'd rather we actually play poor and scab a 1-0 win than play well and not. They are down there for a reason and we need to ensure we do the job, no excuses.
Stan 16,918
2-0 to Villa at home to Preston. Same scoreline for Middlesbrough away at Ipswich. Birmingham winning 1-0 away at Brentford Stoke leading Bolton 1-0.
Stan 16,918
Villa have squandered their 2-0 lead to Preston after Chester was sent off. Now 2-2. QPR winning 1-0 at Reading.

Danny 2,050
This is where our lack of consistency will get us, shouldn't be drawing at home to Birmingham but it is what it is. On the plus side their fans on Twitter are raging so at least I can get a laugh somewhere Edited October 2, 2018 by Danny
The Artful Dodger 1,831
Excruciatingly poor from Hull, Leeds did enough and we did nothing. Maybe it was just Harry Wilson that kept us up.
Fairy In Boots 576
He has to go now for his own health really, he looks ill and after a traumatic year for him personally it’s turning very nasty. There would have been no ill feeling if he’s gone in the summer when the new owners came in and it was obvious that they wanted a brand of football completely at odds with his style that he was keeping the seat warm. Needs to go to salvage the season

Lucas 3,635
Not vintage Leeds by any means but we still did enough against a pretty poor side. Nicely worked goal from us which is becoming a fashion now and good to keep a clean sheet. Have to say, I'm still concerned at how many chances we miss. Had Hull scabbed a late equaliser, it would have been deflating. Need to get Brentford done now and then rest up for two weeks whilst the cavalry return. Pablo and Kemar, we miss you. Hull are going to drop to League One eventually. The club has a bit of a Sunderland whiff about them. Extremely negative vibes. Support has deserted them and it could be a long old season for Adkins. Pig on the Wing 289
Poor performance that made Stoke look excellent for large periods. We got back into it but didn't actually offer much up top. Not much more to be said, it was totally expected. We'll lose far more than we'll win this season, again, it's just hoping that there are three marginally worse sides in the division. Although, seeing as this was disallowed, we might as well all fuck off home and watch netball instead. https://mobile.twitter.com/_tombridge/status/1047221903801430017/video/1 Edited October 3, 2018 by StefBWFC

Smiley Culture 1,650
Harvey Barnes scores again. Leicester have paid £20m+ on a type of player they already had at their club, it seems. West Brom are going to be lucky to keep him on loan beyond January.
Smiley Culture 1,650
I tell you what, I really enjoy watching West Brom this season. They seem to be on a fair amount and with Sky showing all midweek games, I'm tuning into watch West Brom to watch their "you score 3, we'll score 4" mentality they've got. It's fantastic to watch as a neutral.

Maddison's played on the left in the last couple of games. I wonder if Barnes eventually comes in at number 10. I'd keep him at West Brom for now though. He's flourishing in a decent side. Danny 2,050
Seen the highlights, Brum were lucky to draw tbh. Could have finished 3 or 4-1, but wasn't to be. Still a promising performance to take to Elland Road. Last time we played their we conceded to a goal that I believe was offside and our manager made a point about them slowing the ball down by not cutting the grass which I'm sure will be brought up again
The Palace Fan 3,180
Said it last week and I'll say it again. Sheffield Wednesday don't score normal goals. Adam Reach scored another ping from pretty much the same position as last week. They halted an inform West Brom with an excellent team performance. On the flip side I was quite annoyed to hear Ipswich fans booing. Isn't this what they wanted last season? Mick out and trying to play football even if it affected results? Be careful what you wish for. As for the other matches... - Billy Sharpe represents everything about this Chris Wilder Sheffield United. Fantastic to see it working out for him on about the fifthteenth attempt. - Quite mental to think that was Josh McEachran's first professional goal. It's also quite mental to think he's only 25. That said, he's definitely at the best team for his development. - I didn't realise the fee that Leeds had paid for Tyler Roberts, but the early signs are definitely promising. A big result for them to keep them back on track. - Norwich/Derby was always going to be a close contest with the way they've both been playing. Not surprised it all ended in a draw. - Swansea need to be more clinical in front of goal if they're to progress up the table. With Oliver McBurnie though I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen. Credit to the Wigan keeper though whose clean sheet record for Wigan is very impressive. Nearly 1 every 2 games. - Another plucky competitive performance from Rotherham. I swear it feels like they've done better already than they did two seasons ago. - You know Stoke City are doing well because the media have stopped caring about them. Three wins in three now. - The hero of the week had to be the floodlights at The City Ground. Whatever pep talk Forest had when the lights were out worked like a treat as they became a much better team in the second half. - A massive three points for QPR. I didn't think McLaren would turn it round, but the way they've plucked victories against teams there level has been impressive.
Danny 2,050
McEachran is probably having the best start to a season he's had yet. We're really benefitting from his range of passing and I think he's after an England call up in the next couple of years.
JoshBRFC 1,339
Our first home league defeat in just over a year Sheffield United looked good and could have maybe won by more. Forget and move on.. big game now at the weekend.
roversgirl 37
All good things come to an end, but the achievement of our long unbeaten run at home is very impressive. We worked hard and gave it a go, but we were simply beaten by a better team who performed better on the night. Mowbray will ensure the team move on quickly and go again away at Bolton.
