carefreeluke Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 Kid needs a good loan move, surely they'll be a few Premier League teams or even clubs in the top leagues around Europe that would take him and more importantly play him regularly. Don't waste 2-3 years like others being the club's academy poster boy. Callum, do yourself a favour and get out on loan.
Lucas Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 No links at all but would love to see us bring in someone like him on loan. I think the Championship is a very good learning curve for someone with little experience. And I actually think he'd fit in so well with the way Bielsa has us playing. Not to mention it would be great for him to be experiencing a promotion push and big crowds/expectation.
Cicero Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Think we have far too many injuries atm to consider anything.
Cicero Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 They've bid 30 million now. If our board was sensible, they'd reject it. Far too many injuries atm and in reality, we should be loaning him. Not selling him.
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted January 9, 2019 Subscriber Posted January 9, 2019 Sky Germany was reporting it done for a bit, sounds like its still up in the air.
Cicero Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 He isn't going anywhere. Least not in January. We are low in quality at the wing and in reality, CHO should be starting ahead of Willian and Pedro.
Rick Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 He will likely stay. Considering the amount of fuck all that Willian and Pedro are offering, if he doesn't see decent game time in the second half of the season I'd be straight on to the club asking to leave in the summer. Loftus-Cheek might have been naive and wasted away years of his career at the club, but I don't think this lad is gonna be as daft as that. He will get plenty of time at Bayern. They are jealous as fuck of Dortmund & Sancho and want a young Brit for themselves.
Lucas Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 Let's be honest. With the greatest respects to Chelsea, historically the youngsters have had difficulty playing there. Players are bought mainly for the short term, such is the pressure of success. And their kids farmed out on loan for experience and the majority sold for decent profit. If you are Hudson-Odoi, hoping to get a run of games, you only need to look at how many kids have had to leave to progress in their career. If he has any doubts about his future, he should 100% move. I don't think any Chelsea fan would hold it against him given how the club is run, and it would be a big lesson for them to learn. In an ideal world for them, they can hopefully see off the Bayern threat, give him some games to show what he can do and by the end of May, he could well be a first team fixture and 100% wants to stay. But there is obviously serious doubt there. And if a European giant such as Bayern want to pay that much for you, you've got to be thinking about it.

True Blue Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Provides more than both Willian and Pedro. Start him every time possible he will be ready to be a regular next season. If we sell i will be pissed, but can't blame Hudson he proved he can do it we still feel he isn't ready.
Cicero Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 I've defended Sarri a lot, but I simply won't defend him even he continues to play Willian ahead of him. The biggest fraud this club has ever seen. Hopefully him taking Willian off before CHO against Spurs was a sign of things to come.

The German champions have made no secret of their desire to bring the teenager to Bavaria and have already made four bids, the latest of which reached £35million. Chelsea want to keep Hudson-Odoi but are conscious that he only has 18 months left on his current contract and has threatened not to extend his deal if Bayern’s offer is rejected. https://metro.co.uk/2019/01/12/chelsea-tell-bayern-munich-they-want-buy-back-clause-included-in-callum-hudson-odoi-transfer-8335480/
True Blue Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 The stories went a bit quite after he has been playing more recently. Hope he stays and Sarri gives all his wingers an equal chance not looking at their age.

Bayern Munich has made their intention to sign the 18-year-old this month abundantly clear, the Germans’ latest offer worth in the region of £35million — an incredible fee considering Hudson-Odoi has not started a single Premier League game yet. The teenager is understood to be keen on a switch to the Bundesliga because he feels Bayern are more likely to give him regular first-team opportunities. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6604295/Chelsea-Callum-Hudson-Odoi-70-000-week-deal.html

However, The Sun now claims Bayern - who have made four separate bids for the player - have convinced him to make the switch with a guarantee of first-team football and a contract offer worth £85,000 per week. Chelsea was reported to be offering the 18-year-old £70,000 per week to stay but Hudson-Odoi is said to be more concerned at moving so he can increase his playing time. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1074534/Chelsea-transfer-news-Callum-Hudson-Odoi-Bayern-Munich-rumours-gossip 2

Cicero Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 The fact Willian is still preferred over him is why I can't be too angry at his decision. Blame is on both Sarri and the club.
True Blue Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Willian as Alonso and Jorginho is undroppable. Sell the lad give him a chance to play regular football.

Willian can fuck off. Alonso needs be upgraded on. Squad option at best. Jorginho needs competition. Regressed since November and he can't even control a ball now.
True Blue Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Agreed not sure why Emerson is being ignored. Is he really that poor?
