The Artful Dodger
Liverpool look nice on the ball but can't see them breaking them down, Origi and Sturridge are not giving them much at all. Wolves should be doing better and pressing them.

Perhaps in terms of freshness but mentally it builds more pressure, 2 losses on the bounce and no Cup to fall back on if they piss the league away. Klopp knows better than I but it seems strange to encourage a defeat.

Yeah, everyone's been crap. Milner probably just stands out because he's been the most involved.
Administrator Stan Posted January 7, 2019 Author Administrator Share Posted January 7, 2019 Quite clear what Klopp's priority is. League and Champions League. Understand the fall-back option of winning the FA Cup goes out the window if the above two fail, but with such strength in their league performance so far, it's also understandable why they're focussing on the league. Manchester City are favourites for the league, surely? Their squad is so much better, a 4 point gap is very little with so much to go.

Focus on keeping that gap and not letting Man City have any more of a sniff than they already do.

It's a completely different side to the one that played on Thursday and that will play on Saturday
LFCMike
I like seeing some of the young lads given a go in games like this but it doesn't do them any favours playing them alongside shite like Mignolet and Moreno.
Administrator Stan Posted January 7, 2019 Author Administrator Share Posted January 7, 2019 Klopp's rollocking has worked then! Origi equalises with a powerful left-footed strike just inside the box. 1-1.
