Yep, the worst part is that they almost got promoted that year. They would have gone professional and probably would have gotten sent back down. Guest Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 VAR has been used for the first time in Peru, and in the third tier. in a game between Aquaito and FC Retamoso, the visiting side scored a goal and the referee was unsure, so he asked someone to show them a replay on their cell phone. Basically, we've had the first unofficial use of VAR in the country.

Dr. Gonzo Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 If the Johnny Depp side ends up winning this, I think there's legitimate grounds to just shut football down in Peru.

They actually have a very decent side for this competition. I'd imagine if they win it they'll need to change the badge haha!
Guest Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 The debut for each team in the adopted category Molinos el Pirata vs UD Parachique Molinos el Pirata have a badge that is slowly become infamous within the country, and they are not only favourites for this game but one of the favourites to win the whole thing, having a squad made up of mostly players from the Atletico Grau team who reached the final last season. This first game should be a relative breeze for them ahead of what they have to take on afterwards. @RandoEFC Municipal Yanahuanca vs Leon Municipal Yanahuanca are based in Pasco, which is amongst the highest altitude areas in the entire country. While the capital of the region if at 4000 metres above sea level, Yanahuanca is only 3100. This could still be a struggle for Leon as they are based in a city that is only 1800 metres, but overall have a much superior squad to the Pasqueños. @Stan Union Deportivo Ascencion vs Escuela JTR UDA don't have a ton of expectations but this match between them and JTR is a coin toss. UDA are a traditional club from Huancavelica with the biggest fanbase in the region, where as Escuela JTR are just an academy. The home side should get the win here. @nudge Defensor Laure Sur vs AEB Defensor Laure Sur maintained most of their squad from last year and added some new players like Nelson Davila and Christian La Torre, who played for Peru's U17 in the U17 World Cup back in 2007. This first game is a breeze as AEB aren't threatening anyone and being at home makes it better for them. @The Palace Fan
Administrator Stan Posted August 30, 2018 Administrator Posted August 30, 2018 should be smashing that shitty high-levelled municipal.
Guest Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Bagua Grande FC vs ADA - @Mel81x The champions of Amazonas will be underdogs in their first clash of the year against the Cajamarquinos runner ups. Despite that, their hard-to-reach-location may give the home team an advantage. Sportivo Huracan vs Juventud Locumba - @Eco The home team are heavy favourites for this clash. After breezing their way into the national stage with a 6-0 win in the final over Social Corire, they now find themselves with another favourable opponent. Juventud Locumba are no Coronel Bolognesi and Huracan should have no trouble defeating them.
Guest Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Alfonso Ugarte vs Social Corire - @SirBalon Alfonso Ugarte are the undisputed favourites for this tournament and this first game should be a breeze for them. Social Corire aren't a great side and the home team should have no issues winning this one.

Guest Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Alianza Universidad vs Municipal Aguaytia - @Dan The visitors will be travelling to Huanuco for their first match and are the underdogs against a strong Alianza Universidad who lost last year on default due to playing an ineligible player. This game should be a good start for AU to gain momentum and fight their way to get to the finalisima.
Guest Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Tomorrow, @Eco's team is the only one amongst the TF365 community who debut's. The rest are on Sunday. Sportivo Huracan will take on Juventud Locumba as mentioned, 3:30 Peru time/CST.
Guest Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Alfredo Tomassini vs Sport Marino - @Harvsky Alfredo Tomassini from Ventanilla host Sport Marino coming from the south in the region of Ica. This should be an easier game as the visitors aren't exactly spending much, unfortunately the home team is absolutely shite and will do well to get points from this.
