Well, they do have a lot of Casinos

To be honest I thought he'd go to MLS; both for the casinos and the fact that his son lives there.

Wait what? :o I didn't know that.

Yep. His son lives in Florida with his mom (Kruse's ex) and Kruse always said that after his active football career he would move to the US to be closer to him.

Well, they are about to have two teams, (Orlando and Miami), with one already being there, so he's got choices, although Inter Miami won't start operations for a few more years.

Great player. I'd like him to play in some Champions League club before retirement. He deserves that.

Latest reports are linking him with Frankfurt. And Hoffenheim. One way or another, it seems like he'll be staying in the Bundesliga :/

Seriously? I expected him to change an environment at least I little bit. BILD reported something about a transfer to Italy recently and I thought it'd be his destination.

Yeah, looks like it... He was apparently in talks with Rome but didn't reach an agreement with them. After he announced his decision to leave today, Werder representatives said they didn't know what his destination is, but most media sources in Bremen claim that the club is pretty sure he'll joining another club in Germany... I just hope it's not Hoffenheim.

I think he'll return to Gladbach.

Don't think so. I know words do not mean much in modern football but Eberl ruled out Kruse's return less than a month ago...and they just extended Raffael's contract I think.

According to my sources the player will sign a contract in Duisburg tomorrow.

Cooperation with Ferrero (Nutella). Kruse is allowed to eat as much as he wants and will orchestrate our midfield together with Kevin Pannewitz from summer.

Sounds like a perfect deal to me to be fair. Can definitely understand him leaving in that case.

Que Sera, sera - but it must hurt a little after so much great service.  The hole he leaves will not be easy to fill no only on the pitch, but last time I saw Nuri he was saying how Max was great to play with - he will be missed in all areas!

Max Kruse at Liverpool sounds weird. Not as weird as Choupo-Moting at PSG weird, still a little though.

Difference is nudge and gang are sorry to see him leave, we were very happy to get rid of C-M

Has just terminated his contract due to Fenerbahce allegedly failing to pay his wages.

So... can a club sign a free agent right now, just like at this moment? Asking for a friend.
