Considering Chelsea got him for £15m he was worth the punt, obviously he just isn't that good and not at the level required for Chelsea. They should get a reasonable amount of money if they were to sell.

Think we can easily get 15 mill for him, think he is actually a better player now than when we bought him. If he stays squad player at best he can't start to save his life. Looks impressive only against super poor sides.

Ross' ratings so far:

England vs Bulgaria: 6/10

England vs Kosovo 6/10

Chelsea vs Grimbsy 6/10

Chelsea vs Brighton 6/10

If you were feeling cynical you could perhaps say this sums up his career.

GRIMSBY.

And he did really well against us. He took his goal well and created some other chances too.

Hi guys, sorry for the late posting, it's been a busy few weeks.

Bulgaria vs England

Ross scored twice on international duty in a match which was pretty much a training game. He wasn't fantastic by any means but got into some nice positions in the box and as the old cliche goes you can only play what's in front of you. He wasn't as good as some of the other England players playing, Sterling, Kane, Winks and you could even say Rashford had better games but with two goals, I'd give Ross overall a generous. 8/10

Chelsea vs Newcastle

Ross started the game but limped off on 43 minutes and only performances of more than 50 minutes will be taken into consideration.

In the meanwhile, we'll see how long it takes for Ross to recover from his injury.

Ross is finally back on the football pitch.

I give him a 6/10 for his performance today in the FA Cup against Nottingham Forest. Grabbed a goal.

Agreed on the performance rating against a mixed Forest side. Apart from getting the deflected shot in he did very little. Don't see him being a Chelsea player beyond the summer. Showed some good potential, but then after his few media fuck ups his form went the same way. I'd rather play a kid with potential then have him being average against a Championship side filled with kids.

True but still a long term injury, shouldn't be rushed in any case.

It’s a write off. Ruben hinted he’d be back March

There will be an 8/10 at some point in the next 16 games to keep his 1 in 20 ratio stable. Then we can see it sums up his career.

Ross' first 8/10 in the Premier League came against Burnley at Stamford Bridge. A nice, tidy, composed and confident performance from him which lead to some shouts from Chelsea fans for him to start in the Newcastle game. His best performance this season.

Chelsea vs Burnley

West Ham are planning a loan bid for Chelsea's England midfielder Ross Barkley, 26, who played under Hammers boss David Moyes at Everton. (Mirror)

The most obvious West Ham signing ever.

Hull vs Chelsea

Ross had some nice touches and moments but overall perhaps failed to really impose himself in a game where for the first 45 minutes our players had so much time on the ball. He wasn't bad but just a bit passive.

6/10 was super flattering, he was super poor in my opinion. Don't think he will survive beyond the summer if he doesn't become Lampard in the next few months. Our worst midfielder in this team hands down.

Chelsea vs Tottenham

Ross had a decent game. He worked hard and clearly put in a shift which is something that has pleased a lot of Chelsea fans. It was a game where he had clear tactical instructions to play his role which is something that perhaps helps his game. Positive performance.

Chelsea vs Bayern Munich

Ross was trusted for this one given his positive performance against Spurs. He disappointed though, in a game where our whole team were outclassed.

4/10
