Cicero Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Genuinely think we should sell him and bring in a proper DM. Mount and Ruben are light years ahead of him.
Chaaay AFC Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Considering Chelsea got him for £15m he was worth the punt, obviously he just isn't that good and not at the level required for Chelsea. They should get a reasonable amount of money if they were to sell.

If he stays squad player at best he can't start to save his life. Looks impressive only against super poor sides.
carefreeluke Posted October 1, 2019 Author Posted October 1, 2019 Ross Barkley vs Taxi Driver Ross caught dawdling again and some poor decision making as well. 4/10

GRIMSBY. And he did really well against us. He took his goal well and created some other chances too.
Smiley Culture Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 When does this thread title get changed to “Scouse Jermaine Jenas”?
carefreeluke Posted October 25, 2019 Author Posted October 25, 2019 Hi guys, sorry for the late posting, it's been a busy few weeks. Bulgaria vs England Ross scored twice on international duty in a match which was pretty much a training game. He wasn't fantastic by any means but got into some nice positions in the box and as the old cliche goes you can only play what's in front of you. He wasn't as good as some of the other England players playing, Sterling, Kane, Winks and you could even say Rashford had better games but with two goals, I'd give Ross overall a generous. 8/10 Chelsea vs Newcastle Ross started the game but limped off on 43 minutes and only performances of more than 50 minutes will be taken into consideration. In the meanwhile, we'll see how long it takes for Ross to recover from his injury.
carefreeluke Posted November 27, 2019 Author Posted November 27, 2019 Ross was back in action recently off the pitch. 3/10
True Blue Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 What a fucking melt, probably said goodbye to his Chelsea career.
carefreeluke Posted January 5, 2020 Author Posted January 5, 2020 Ross is finally back on the football pitch. I give him a 6/10 for his performance today in the FA Cup against Nottingham Forest. Grabbed a goal.

Apart from getting the deflected shot in he did very little. Don't see him being a Chelsea player beyond the summer. Showed some good potential, but then after his few media fuck ups his form went the same way. I'd rather play a kid with potential then have him being average against a Championship side filled with kids.
Cicero Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 With Ruben fit there will be just no point for Barkley

Then we can see it sums up his career. Ross' first 8/10 in the Premier League came against Burnley at Stamford Bridge. A nice, tidy, composed and confident performance from him which lead to some shouts from Chelsea fans for him to start in the Newcastle game. His best performance this season. Chelsea vs Burnley 8/10

carefreeluke Posted January 26, 2020 Author Posted January 26, 2020 Hull vs Chelsea Ross had some nice touches and moments but overall perhaps failed to really impose himself in a game where for the first 45 minutes our players had so much time on the ball. He wasn't bad but just a bit passive. 6/10
Cicero Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 He’s better playing deeper. Long are the days of him being a box to box type player

Don't think he will survive beyond the summer if he doesn't become Lampard in the next few months. Our worst midfielder in this team hands down.
carefreeluke Posted February 23, 2020 Author Posted February 23, 2020 Chelsea vs Tottenham Ross had a decent game. He worked hard and clearly put in a shift which is something that has pleased a lot of Chelsea fans. It was a game where he had clear tactical instructions to play his role which is something that perhaps helps his game. Positive performance. 7.5/10
carefreeluke Posted February 26, 2020 Author Posted February 26, 2020 Chelsea vs Bayern Munich Ross was trusted for this one given his positive performance against Spurs. He disappointed though, in a game where our whole team were outclassed. 4/10
