  4. Max reminds me of a young Hamilton but not as fast. Lewis went straight into a top seat and had a steep and very public learning curve for his first few years. His best year was actually his debut season in 2007, then 2008 onwards although he won the title that year were riddled with mistakes and petulance culminating in the 2011 campaign where he has his arse handed to him by Jenson Button who was a top driver but no Vettel or Alonso. He has matured as a driver if not so much as a person since then. Verstappen is even younger than Lewis was when he burst onto the scene and the hype around him is so great that there's a lot of pressure. However at the moment he looks like he'll always be good enough as an occasional race winner in an occasionally race winning team but if Red Bull get back to being consistent front runners he's not good enough to beat Vettel or Hamilton in a straight fight if Ricciardo moves to Ferrari as rumoured. Max is the type of driver who could win 9 races in a year and finish 2nd in the Championship being a more consistent rival with 6 or 7 wins.

  5. For me, Márquez (yes, put the accent there for you ) is too reckless and too dangerous with his all-or-nothing mentality at times. There's being fierce and aggressive (you have to be if you want to win), and then there's taking it over the top - and he does it often, and did in lower classes already. Can be a loose cannon at times and put others in danger, somewhat similar to how Simoncelli was (RIP).

  6. I hope, if any of my fellow Chelsea fans still held a hope our manager is the real McCoy, todays game\selection\tactics should have painted as clear a picture to leave us all without any doubt he is a FUCKING WANKER. As we understand it, the one player we can be sure was his selection, on his list of 3 players he asked for, Morata, is probably as bad as we have ever signed. So the managers claptrap about not getting the players he wanted, must make us think we dodged a bullet or two as we maybe saddled with more duds. In saying that, I always say those who come from abroad get a season. However, Morata really looks bad leading the line. It dont help him he is replacing the bloke who was brilliant at his job. We sure miss him.

  12. That is hilarious! Iniesta behind the bar serving Rakitić is brilliant... But Umtiti burying his money almost made me vomit with laughter. Who's the one snorkelling! Semedo or Dembélé? Hahahaha

  15. Haha yes they are very quite cringey that way. You should see the finals its quite the spectacle. Back on topic, I think there's very little difference between the OpenAI bot and Deepmind's AlphaGo Zero, both learn through experience and trial-and-error and that's really where the AI limitation is. The time to learn and ramp up quickly enough to beat an opponent isn't guaranteed by simply seeing the playing field because the system isn't capable of understanding all the permutations and combinations by knowing the rules and applying them as-is. This is where the next level of AI is taking precedence where it can gain the the environment faster than the two AI's we've mentioned. When that day comes the bot in the game and AlphaGo will never have to play a single game and beat its opponent purely on data about the environment. If it laughed at the opponent once its won I'd start getting worried but we're not there yet and it will probably take another 3 to 5 years atleast.

  17. Almost all of the current grid came through F2, most of them were in there when it was called GP2 though but it was essentially the same thing. I went to the British GP in 2010 and 2011. I can't remember which year it was but we watched all of the feeder series including GP2 (featuring Sergio Perez and Pastor Maldonado), GP3 (featuring Esteban Gutierrez) and Formula BMW (featuring Carlos Sainz Jr). Lewis Hamilton came into F1 as a GP2 champion, as did Maldonado and Hulkenberg if I remember correctly. Jolyon Palmer and Charles Leclerc more recently. The main exception are the Red Bull academy drivers who seem to take different routes through the feeder series before getting a chance at Toro Rosso. However the FIA have set it up nicely now that there is a clear route through GP3 and F2 to get to Formula 1, with both of those series attached to most F1 race weekends. It's also good that Sky Sports F1 have the rights and show all of the qualifying and races if you're minded to watch the up and comers.

  18. This was the battle in the F2 race earlier for 2nd place between the Brazilian Sette Camara and Russian Markelov who started the race from the pitlane after stalling on the starting grid.

  19. Are you going to offer any more of your opinions on other clubs and players, for example Liverpool or more specifically Mo Salah?

  20. Thanks or your interest Gonzo, but your opinion on football or my club is not one I warrant as being needed to be read. This is a "heads up" to save your time.
