Yeah but you wouldn't see Vince McMahon come out and say AEW's women's division sucks or that Rampage is a pointless show. Needs to just focus on AEW.1 point

You've travelled so much that you've probably forgotten where "home" is Crete looks amazing to honest and I could see me loving it there. I've been to another Greek island(Aegina) and also Athens in terms of main land Greece, although I was quite young at the time. I definitely need to get to the Carribbean part of Latin America when everything is truly back to "normal".1 point

The Wonder Years, Boy Meets World, and Saved by the Bell are the series I remember best from my childhood, I think Yeah, give it a go. I watched all 3 episodes available today, really like it. Don Cheadle is the narrator, love it.1 point

The Wonder Years defined my childhood. Winnie Cooper, Madeline, than that girl from the lake. While my sad teenage ass sat locked in at home, hiding from bullies, daydreaming I was Kevin. GOOD TIMES. I might give this new one a go as well. Fred Savage is actually a producer.1 point

Lucy, the first mission to explore Trojan asteroids, is scheduled to launch from Cape Canaveral on Saturday for its 12-year-long journey Interesting fact: in the tradition of Voyager, Lucy spacecraft also carries a plaque as a time capsule - not for the "aliens" though, but for our own descendants. The plaque includes messages from prominent thinkers of our time and a diagram showing the positions of the planets on the date of Lucy’s launch.1 point

That's me and the wife's flu jabs done and dusted, a 15-minute walk to the local pharmacy was better than a 10.5 mile, forty minute bus journey across town to a place that the NHS wanted us to go to.1 point

They're not, at least not always, I've been on one actually - there was no indication we'd be on the camera and my wife (not my wife at the time) and I both had no idea (and were surprised as fuck) when we ended up on camera.1 point

If the goal is champions league or even more than that then I do think highly likely whoever comes in now will need to be sacked in a couple of years when they inevitably peak and we need next level. As what happened to Mark Hughes at Man City. Unless some miracle happens and Conte actually wants the job now. New owners or not I'd want a progressive manager on the right side of the games direction. We haven't had one of those in a long time.1 point

Looking likely that boosters are now going to be available to everyone here pretty soon. I think there's a bit of an ethical dilemma here in that: I would be totally fine with getting a booster and having a bit more protection from the virus - but I don't really think it's right that a country that's got so much vaccine skepticism is getting its booster jabs ahead of so many countries where demand for the vaccine is sky high and so many people haven't had their first or second jabs. Strikes me as wrong when it's a global pandemic and people should be getting the vaccine worldwide to really limit the spread of the disease and bring us back to normal ASAP.1 point

Comedy gold this is... Drunk Turkish man reported missing joins search party and ‘finds himself’ in forest Beyhan Mutlu, who is living in Inegol in the northwestern province of Bursa, was reported missing on Tuesday. His family alerted authorities after he failed to return home from a drinking session with friends and didn’t return phone calls. Officials said Mr Mutlu, 50, wandered into a forest and could not be found by his friends, Turkish media outlet Daily Sabah reported. A search party was dispatched to the area and Mr Mutlu ended up meeting them in the woods, according to the report. Officials reportedly had no idea that Mr Mutlu was the man they had been looking for and he joined the search party for several hours before “finding himself”. Reports say Mr Mutlu became aware that he was the one the search party was looking for after they began shouting his name. LMFAO....1 point

Absolutely devastated. A very sad day today. After 7 years of medical training and hard work, a very good friend of mine has been struck off after one minor indiscretion. He slept with one of his patients (they were good friends) and can now no longer work in the profession he loves. What a waste of time, effort, training and money. A genuinely nice guy and a brilliant vet.1 point

Started watching the reboot of The Wonder Years. Loved the original as a kid; this one is the same concept, but from the perspective of a kid from a black family in Alabama in the late 60s. A typical coming of age story with some humour and social realities of the time. Actually enjoying it.0 points
