  1. Was prevented from logging in from Thursday to now for private reasons. Therefore this update it's that late. Apologize for that inconvenience! 3. This week I said fuck it and just put a bunch of random shit in. That's my new formula.

  5. Oh come of it . The rules over time have shown to be not fit for purpose but that doesn't mean any of you were right to have no regard for them.

  6. Forest and Everton aren't the problem with what's happened to Premier League football though. Nor are Leicester. Football shouldn't come down to which clubs are unlucky enough to be sold to lunatics like those two. Meanwhile nobody at the Premier League seems to give a shit about the elite clubs who have monopolised English football, and in the case of some of them, contribute every year to the sheer unsustainability of football by spending unconscionable amounts of money driving ridiculous inflation. All of us fans of the "make up the numbers" clubs shouldn't be wasting our time bickering over who breached PSR by £20m this time. We should all be outraged at the fact that our clubs are held accountable to these rules but if you're lucky enough to have been astonishingly rich before they were introduced then you just get off with it every year. Chelsea and Man Utd are worse run clubs than Everton, Forest and Leicester. I may have some respect for a set of rules like these when they're held to the same standards as us.

  7. So the thing is, do your beans in the Championship, get promoted and then don’t get punished and live happily ever after?

  8. I hope Gravenberch snubs him again. I'd love to hear what he has to say then.

  9. Im not too bothered about Ricochet. I enjoy his matches for what they are but jesus for a guy who struggles to exhibit charisma on TV he comes across like such a douche. Like he started arguing with one of his fans last week because they said they'll now watch the highlights of AEW because hes on it. I want to see him and Ospreay again though, given how much Ospreay has improved in the last 7+ years. Those Lucha Underground producers back in the day deserve to be working in Hollywood now. They had Ricochet looking charismatic on camera, Pentagon looking like a 6ft+ monster and Rick Knox looking like a competent referee.

  11. Yes, as a matter of fact they added one more game this season. Last season there were 3 games for free, and this season there will be 4.

  12. Updated table. Lots of movement with nobody retaining their place from last week - obviously @Pyfish has only just entered, and by coming straight in at 3rd despite a loss it's the good element of this game in that you can win the league without having to play throughout. Although he was ridiculously unlucky to not have a pretty good shot of doing this anyway after what panned out. The pick of the entire game so far in Haaland's hat-trick at 16/1, but let down in extremely unlucky circumstances by the shorter leg being bust due to Clarke only getting 10 minutes on the field. He did manage a shot, but it was off target according to SofaScore. @Smiley Culture is the new leader after a 3rd win in 4 weeks. Bacon saved somewhat by Birmingham's late winner. As mentioned elsewhere, although the stakes are only £5, £10 and £20 I've made an exception here to allow a £15 stake due to the selections coming separately with £20 and £10 stakes so I thought that was the fairest solution. In truth though I wonder if there's a case to just allow any stake up to X amount but maybe something for others to think about. @RandoEFC picks up a 2nd win in 3 as well but unluckily is knocked off the top. Very fine margins here. Leverkusen are finally beaten but they still managed to win a half of their game. Bayern won 2-0 with a goal in either half. Ideal really. I'm back with a loss and as per every time I've picked an early game ready for another at the weekend I've been bust by it. Missing by the skin of my teeth too as Leicester scored a 4th from 25+ yards in injury time. @CaaC (John) isn't having a good season so far with another pair of teams losing. @Stan's ever reliable Gateshead pick comes up trumps again but the double is blown by a goalless game in Northampton. @...Dan's £20 stakes are backfiring so far, with a third loss from three leaving him bottom of the table. The September international break next - probably my least favourite weekend of the season. Way too early for a break and very little to bet on either. But I shall find an angle. And probably lose.

  17. 3 games in and we're already facing a 2-week international break before the next round... @Dan goes into it in 1st place, after a joint-high 21pts takes him 5 points clear. I also got 21 points which took me from 4th bottom to 4th from top. The new leader got 3 perfect scores, as did @CaaC (John) who only dealt in perfect scores - his 3 the only ones he profited from in addition to the 5-point bonus to get the second-highest score of the week. @Pyfish goes off the bottom after scoring 10 points. It's quite a close league already, with 9 points the gap from 2nd through to 11th. And it could continue to change considerably after the break with the difference in range of scores being 11...

  18. @Dave. @Devil-Dick Willie When someone found out I was going to wembley to watch wrestling they asked me if I knew it wasn't real. I can't believe some people still think wrestling fans don't know that
