  1. I do enjoy your in depth well thought out counter arguments on subjects...
  2. In all seriousness if those figures are true that 63% of the squad is asthmatic then something doesn't add up.. Most people that suffer with Asthma tend to feel more fatigued and have breathing difficulties so you can imagine what 90 minutes of high paced running around would do to them, but if they were able to take a little bump of 'the old Maradona Magic' at half time might explain why their performances are much higher than other teams and if they are using that diagnosis as some sort of loophole to keep them enhanced it takes all the shine off what they have achieved
  3. I think to be honest you would stop reading any article that had a slight hint of negativity about Liverpool or Klopp... Not saying you are wrong on the injury front but that's not what the article is about is it??
  4. Well, well... isn't this interesting.. Not at all dodgy... - 9GAG After seeing this I had a look around and found this article.. Liverpool FC, Asthma and Salbutamol: Information and Controversy - Generation95
  5. So you are not arguing about greatness in terms of what they win/achieve, more about how they achieved it?? In other words the fact that Arsenal won stuff with great teams rather than spending shit loads of money like Chelsea and City...

Just reading that Dennis Waterman has passed away age 74 RIP.. The 'Sweeney' and 'Minder' were two of my favourite shows...
  7. Chelsea won a historic third successive Women's Super League title in dramatic fashion on the final day of the season with victory over Manchester United. Sam Kerr scored two stunning volleys in the second half as Chelsea came from behind in a six-goal thriller. The Blues, who win the league by a point over second-placed Arsenal, knew victory would give them the title. Manchester United led 2-1 at half-time before Kerr's double and a Guro Reiten strike at Kingsmeadow. Arsenal won 2-0 at West Ham but had to settle for finishing as runners-up.
  8. Better a decent story told in Heavy Metal Magazine...
  9. Space Sirens suckering weary travellers ships in no doubt until they reach the point of no return.. Might explain why we have not been visited yet..
  10. This is proper creepy... sounds like it came straight from the horror 'Event Horizon' Science. - 9GAG
  11. This one makes me laugh because a long while back when we were up in the loft moving stuff about my youngest daughter who was in her teens back then found some of my old 45's and thought they were black CD's and she asked me what they were for...
  12. Sorry to hear that mate... it's always gutting to lose a family pet..
  13. Now the new ownership has been sorted we can only hope it's a model that is workable and continues to allow us to challenge for Trophies but we will have to see how that works out, either way it removes all doubt about our survival not that it was realistically going to to see us fold, that was just a daft hope from a few idiots living under rocks.... As for Abramovich we loved him of course.. best part of 20 years as owner and continued success, that when most thought he would get bored with the club after only a couple of years.. All change now though, I expect us to take a little step back for a while while we re-group and then hopefully forward again..
  14. Just finished watching 'The Gods of Egypt' At last!! a factual depiction of events that took place in Egypt back in the day.... 7/10
  15. Well the original claims have been watered down quite a bit...

Wow!! 100 year old Walter Orthmann has worked for the same company for over 84 years... that is some fucking stint that is.. fair play, a working warrior... Man sets world record for working at the same company for 84 years (msn.com)
  20. Given how many times he has died this does not surprise me... Here is another interesting fact.... The idea that Bean dies on-screen more than other actors has become so prevalent that some people have actually gone through the films and done the maths. According to Nerdist.com Sean Bean is actually fourth in line for the title of Most On-Screen Deaths behind John Hurt (42), Bela Lugosi (36), and Vincent Price (33). Sean Bean's total as of December 2014 was 25 on-screen deaths.
