Surprised to see Perez there despite the good season at Betis. I expect he won't make the final cut but good luck to him if he does.

Loads much faster, thank you.

Identical results in terms of scoreline for Game 137 & Game 138, and nearly identical first-goal times.
Game 137's was in the 12th minute.
Game 138's was in the 13th minute.
No winners for both though!

They have to be contenders surely? Took Argentina to a penalty shoot out in the World Cup and that defence is mega, not to mention it will have de Jong and de Roon say in front of it. Defence wins these types of competitons, then throw in players like Frimpong, Maatsen, Simons and Depay going forward. The attack isn’t as good as the defence but with that said they can still hurt teams
I think it's France, England, Portugal and then perhaps Netherlands in same bracket as Germany & Spain.

Saints in control of the game really, Leeds have had most of the ball but Southampton have controlled the key moments throughout the game
They've kept Leeds very quiet all game.

Crap race but good to see it wasn't Verstappen leading it.

Could be a Max and Lewis vs Russell battle on the cards.
Not the threesome I expected to watch today.

Alpine's boss not happy with Ocon. Apparently was fuming on French TV and said there'll be consequences for Ocon...

Watching it back I dont think the entire defence was to blame. Ampadu stepping out to try and win the ball created the gap. Armstrong did well to take that step back to make sure he was onside.
To give Armstrong that much space though is criminal. Should have kept marking Armstrong (or stayed closer) to give time for a midfielder or other player to close the pass down.
-
No nerves there as Armstrong breaks free and scores past Meslier with composure.
Leeds' defensive line non-existent.
-
Southampton bit nervous to begin with but now starting to play. Think Armstrong should have shot.

That said we have a new guy in our office, he's a match going Blue, been going since they were shit. Was there today as well. He reminds me why I hate the original City fans. He still calls us rags, he still uses the Old Trafford isn't in Manchester line. He even called Old Trafford the swamp the other day.
Pathetic support
Pathetic support because he hates everything about his rivals?

Deserved for Man Utd. Had a game plan and stuck to it. Man City barely had any answers despite Doku making a difference along with the goal.
Foden and De Bruyne were the worst two. Gave Haaland nothing, and neither did Man Utd's defence. Mainoo and Wan-Bissaka were very good.

Rodri fuming that Man Utd aren't playing football how he thinks they should.
Enzo Maresca Leaving Leicester for Chelsea

Pretty much this.
Foolish for him to reject it given the copious extra resources and circumstance at each club.
Bizarre from Chelsea considering the previous managers they've gone for and that they rarely give managers an actual chance. Wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work out for him but Enzo's stock not being impacted.
Shame he's leaving us as I think he was building something decent here and deserved a shot to see how he does with us in the PL, but I just hope we get our next appointment right. Plenty of options out there.
