A subbed sub. He was taken off to kill time with 30 seconds to go so not sure what his problem is.

Weird reaction.

I should imagine it's the stress of trying to carry off that hairstyle, that kind of pressure can get to you emotionally after a while...

Matt Ritchie gave him a pretty public talking to at the end

Matt Ritchie needs to get his coaching licences, he is the kind of guy we need around as he cares.

while Ritchie looks pleasent players have said you must not get on his wrong side.

This season has been surreal.

Credit to Newcastle for doing it the right way... you could have gone and spent a shit load of cash and this may never have happened.. you only need to look at the Boehly experiment to see how badly wrong it can go... On the plus side for you lot as well is it makes playing for Newcastle a much more attractive proposition for players you may consider splashing the cash on in the future..

Given the amount of time you spent in the wilderness under Ashley it must feel good to have hopes and dreams restored...

I keep hearing the crap about selling our soul,  but the reality is the soul of the club has been restored and the city and club has a purpose again.

Mike Ashley had a chance in 2012 when we finished 5th to build on a very solid team and decided to skimp for profits,  I would say 2013 was the point of no return for Mike Ashley.

They say that about every club that has a mega rich investor... In this day and age you can only hope to compete if you get a sugar daddy or a gulf state as an owner or you would be wallowing about in mid table or worse unable to finish in the top 6 for the rest of eternity. Once upon a time good clubs were built by decent managers who spent wisely and made shrewd signings but not anymore, now clubs can spend 600miliion and watch their season get flushed down the toilet and then come back a season later and do the same thing again with a different manager and different players hoping for a different result..

Its not easy to spend yet,  since FFP is based on the clubs ability to produce revenue it is a crutch.   Gary Neville interviewed UEFA president recently and said that it will take us a long time to produce the revenue streams needed to compete with the top 6.  He suggested that a team like us should be able to invest private wealth up to the maximum of the club with the highest revenue ie: Man United to allow us to grow faster.

You'll probably just pull a City/PSG and have Saudi owned companies sponsor the club at overinflated prices to then point to record revenue at Newcastle. Goes hand in hand with trying to promote Saudi business and being a tourism advertisement for the Saudis as well.

Money provides the floor. Coaching and management provides the ceiling. Our floor has been raised.

Manchester United and Arsenal for example should have been bottom half maybe even relegated at least once in the last decade, but their floor won't allow it.
