Cicero Posted March 27, 2017 Author Posted March 27, 2017 Coutinho > James Rodriguez Not even debatable. Nainggalon confirms that Conte spoke with him last summer and is now reconsidering his options. Far better position we are now than this time last season. If both him and Bakayoko some in, Matic is surely gone.

Nainggolan would be a brilliant addition.

Coutinho has been performing at a high level for both club and internationally. James has been average since 2015.
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted March 27, 2017 Subscriber Posted March 27, 2017 To say it's not debatable is quite far though, there will be many who believe Rodriguez is the better player. He's wasted at Madrid.
Dave Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Can we started calling James, Jamez? James doesn't sound like a sexy Colombian name at all.
Cicero Posted March 28, 2017 Author Posted March 28, 2017 Literally have no sympathy for these players who go to Real and rot on the bench. They knew what they were getting into.

Would they?

LFCMadLad Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Just had Sky Sports News on and apparently there's no point anyone bidding for any players this summer because Manchester United are buying everyone.
Storts Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Man United now signing Dier. We've got some rebuilding to do with Lloris, Toby, Walker, Rose, Dier, Lamela, Son, Kane & Poch all going.
True Blue Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Players like Sanchez are exactly what we don't need, World Class player with a shit attitude. As soon as things go to the shitter he would be off

As soon as things go to the shitter he would be off Funnily enough Alexis Sánchez has never had any past cases of absolutely any attitude problem toward a coach, club or teammates. The contract situation (which is what I think you're referring to) is either because he's unsure about his career at Arsenal for obvious reasons or an agent ploy to get the most out of his next signature on a piece of paper. Apart from that, the frustration you see most weeks these days are justifiable considering the attitude of some of his teammates which can't be thrown at him because he can't be accused of not giving 100% every game.
LFCMadLad Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Yeah I agree with Balon. Sanchez has never come across as any kind of Diva and always give 100% everytime he plays.

That would be considered quite cheap in England but because we like overpaying for everything it's hard to know how that price is considered in Germany. Bargain or just about right?

Bargain or just about right? A bargain, I'd say, even if he only had one year left on his contract! Other sources claim it's 10m which can go up to 15m based on his performances. All in all, a good deal for BVB.
LFCMadLad Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 According to Joyce (used to be reliable but now about as reliable as the Metro), Origi wants to leave this summer. Unfortunate because he's got loads of talent but ..... Tara
